    Disappointed! I thought you were going to let us know a work around for the latency. I have a full iem setup but wanted to use the send as a feed to the amp before the amp/cab simulation and the send to the pa/monitoring after the simulation but time aligned properly. Your solution (just live with it) is probably the one I'll end up with too!

    Hey! Thanks for watching. If I understand what you are trying to do, I would use a SEND in front of the AMP/CAB modules to your AMP, and your Main Out(s), including the whole signal patch, to the Front of House. That should work without any latency.

    No problem. I’ve heard it said by several people on KZread that Quad Cortex was the most powerful multi effects processor on the market. I guess if you hear it enough from multiple people, the tendency is to believe it. I’ve also heard things about seamless preset changes that were not accurate. Both the original Headrush Pedalboard and the Headrush Prime can seamlessly change from one preset to another. Of course, the Tone Master Pro can do that as well. I’ve owned all of these multi effects units, so I know from experience that they have that capability. I currently use the Tone Master Pro. I’ve sold all of my other units. For me, I think the Tone Master Pro is the best all round solution. It works the way guitarist think. It’s the closest thing to using actual amps and pedals that I have found. Of course, all of this very subjective. We like what we like. Life would be boring if we were all the same. I appreciate what you do on your channel. Take care. 😎🎸

    Great insight.. Marketing is everything - the first thing you see on the quad cortex site is "The Most powerful floorboard amp modeler on the planet", while Fender are pushing "A Universe of Sound". My guitarist has recently swapped over to Tone Master Pro as he believes it works/sounds better with his Fender guitars. As you say, very subjective, and controversial. Thanks very much for your support.

    I like the helix hardware and the UI a lot. I just can't get behind the quality of the amp modeling from line 6. It just doesn't sound as realistic as kemper, quad cortex, or fractal (fender tonemaster pro doesn't sound great either). I'm still rocking kemper for both guitar and bass amps, and it's still one of the top dogs. Love it.

    Good day. I need to use two different presets in a song. Verses: Preset 1. Chorus: Preset 2. How can I do that? Do you have an idea? Thank you very much and greetings. Andrew

  • @twistieonbass
    @twistieonbass2 ай бұрын

    Hey Andrew... Thanks for watching. I assume you are wanting to use BandHelper to issue two MIDI messages at different times in the song, at the verse and then for the Chorus. You can add multiple MIDI presets to a song, but I believe it executes both when you press the MIDI button. The better way would be to use a footswitch or another MIDI device (pedal, have the keyboard player trigger it, etc). Worst case, you can break the song into two BandHelper "songs", one for verse and one for chorus. Alternatively, you try a similar approach with Stage Traxx 3. I've not used it, but I believe it may have some more advanced MIDI capability. The config on the Helix side should be the same.

    Hi! Yeah, its an incredible song! I am not completely sure about this, but is it possible, you have a lot of muscle tention in your neck while singing? (It seems to me you are much more relaxed while playing strings.) In the back of my head there's an image of seal standing there with his arms spread out whidely and the sun in his face- an image completely opposite of tention. Maybe i noticed because relaxing while singing is a huge thing for me too, [but if accomplished, it really helps a lot[ And on the other hand side there pops up the phenomene of the 'power stance', which gives you easier access to the higher notes (which then again makes relaxation possible) Thanks for sharing & stay tuned! ;)

    @@craighill3715 Sounds like fun!! There are a number of synth presets on the Dr Tone site (drtone.theblackcreekband.com/preset/synth-bass-pack/) and Ian Martin Allison has a Preset Pack that you can buy that I believe has some really great Synth presets. I don't use Synth sounds much, preferring to do it with a Mc Millan 12-step and my ipad, but those guys are a great place to start. If you want to build a preset yourself, I believe Distortion/Overdrive into a Filter and then some Delay is the generally viewed signal path.
