To save the environmental effect - we do not need to chop down trees to make rayon - we can use small biomass to make cellulose instead.

Your jeans are lovely. I like both of your styles, actually; they are pretty much the same as my go-to's, except that I wear a lot of black roll-neck jumpers!

I’m so grateful for your videos. I’m so tired of seeing polyester everywhere and I’m on a mission to find better quality long lasting clothing. It’s frustrating when higher end brands use polyester and acrylic because that is not quality, and they make many people smell sooo bad due to the type of bacteria that naturally lives on this fabric. Semi synthetic is intriguing because I’ve had some good experiences with certain rayons so I’m trying to compare the variations out there

I hate high maintenance clothes. I bought a polo on sale made of viscose blend. It’s not my favorite shirt so I’ll take the risk and throw it in the washing machine and dryer. I’m not going through the trouble to hand wash and dry it!

Hi! Loved the video, do you mind sharing what garment bags or boxes you recommend to store wool/cashmere? Had no idea moths were attracted to this and had an occurrence of moth larvae. Live in a nyc apartment so don't have a ton of space. Appreciate any help!

Hello Beate, I have been following you about 2-3 years, your videos are really informative & well made. I hope you get back on your channel, perhaps consider doing a video about good skincare products that doesnt have any harmful ingredients? There are so many products out there that is greenwashed, i think i read that aveeno for example is one of those, would be great to get good suggestions if you are interested in those things or just keep on doing what you doing. Have a nice day😊

Wondering if there is a maximum amount of polyester allowed to get the optimal breathability together with more durability and strength of the fabric, e.g. 5%-20% polyester in combination with a cotton or a linnen?

I use acetate lining because it is soft, slippery and it isn't polyester. The only Tencel that I have ever seen is not available to home dressmakers and all the things in the shops that are Lyocell, are knits.

Is viscose unhealthy to wear? Another chemical known as carbon disulfide, which is used to spin cellulose into viscose fibers, also has significant associated health risks including coronary heart disease, psycho-physiological and central nervous system effects, retinal angiopathy and many others.

This video was very helpful, unfortunately not everyone affords wool and cashmere clothing, because of this many of us buy clothing made out of cheeper materials :(. For example in my country i find rarely stores which sell wool and cashmere and just relaying on online purchases, without feeling and checking if the measurements fit is also not good. But i am getting more and more interested in what materials are used in the clothing industry and these videos are very helpfull and informative. Thank you very much 😊❤.
