Obsessed with well-made quality clothing and accessories. By no means a minimalist, but love the idea of 'buy once, buy well'.
I take extra good care of my belongings, and spend time and effort to maintain the workmanship of each item.
Still gaining confidence in expressing myself though my personal style.

Rayon: the poor man’s silk
I'll buy your Birkenstocks
Nope, Sorry. Only Cotton Hemp and Linen for me!!!!
I want you in my linen’s. You’re so Beautiful!!!
I love them
To save the environmental effect - we do not need to chop down trees to make rayon - we can use small biomass to make cellulose instead.
Can you combine lyocell with organic cotton or spandex?
Your jeans are lovely. I like both of your styles, actually; they are pretty much the same as my go-to's, except that I wear a lot of black roll-neck jumpers!
“Treated” with toxic chemicals the skin absorbs. Lowers your frequency.
I’m so grateful for your videos. I’m so tired of seeing polyester everywhere and I’m on a mission to find better quality long lasting clothing. It’s frustrating when higher end brands use polyester and acrylic because that is not quality, and they make many people smell sooo bad due to the type of bacteria that naturally lives on this fabric. Semi synthetic is intriguing because I’ve had some good experiences with certain rayons so I’m trying to compare the variations out there
I hate high maintenance clothes. I bought a polo on sale made of viscose blend. It’s not my favorite shirt so I’ll take the risk and throw it in the washing machine and dryer. I’m not going through the trouble to hand wash and dry it!
Thank you so much for making this video ❤
Thank you, what gym legging do you wear, I want to change mine
Brilliant
Just thrifted my angora top and it’s in mint condition 🎉 should I wash it in case it has scabies? Or is it naturally anti microbial?
THANKS
One of my very favorite shirts ever was labeled “bamboo.”
This is how I found your channel. I want to mix my outfits for more outfit combinations
Hi! Loved the video, do you mind sharing what garment bags or boxes you recommend to store wool/cashmere? Had no idea moths were attracted to this and had an occurrence of moth larvae. Live in a nyc apartment so don't have a ton of space. Appreciate any help!
You have such a cute saffa accent, don't stop making videos, this is helpful
Such a great video.
Cupro is fully closed loop. It's a kind of rayon where the reagents can be fully reused.
I've tried the cedar chips and the lavendar sachets. They did not work for me.
Hello Beate, I have been following you about 2-3 years, your videos are really informative & well made. I hope you get back on your channel, perhaps consider doing a video about good skincare products that doesnt have any harmful ingredients? There are so many products out there that is greenwashed, i think i read that aveeno for example is one of those, would be great to get good suggestions if you are interested in those things or just keep on doing what you doing. Have a nice day😊
Wondering if there is a maximum amount of polyester allowed to get the optimal breathability together with more durability and strength of the fabric, e.g. 5%-20% polyester in combination with a cotton or a linnen?
I use acetate lining because it is soft, slippery and it isn't polyester. The only Tencel that I have ever seen is not available to home dressmakers and all the things in the shops that are Lyocell, are knits.
I bought 2 pairs of pants and 2 blouses from Esprit, they were Tencel fabric and they feel so good on the body. Love it!
i love you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘😘😘❤
what about triacetate?
Thank you. Very informative video.
Can you make a video about breathable active and sportswear? Ive seen that some clothes alter hormones. Im trying To make a Word choice 🙃
Is viscose unhealthy to wear? Another chemical known as carbon disulfide, which is used to spin cellulose into viscose fibers, also has significant associated health risks including coronary heart disease, psycho-physiological and central nervous system effects, retinal angiopathy and many others.
Where did you buy your dress from?
Tencel lyocel fabric is very soft.
Everyone said it’s toxic
Silk is not good for summer its worst
That's what she said. Natural silk is good for summer but is highly expensive. Polyester silk on the other hand, is indeed the worst, looks cheap and you stink.
The blazer is beautiful 😍 where is it from?
Not me just buying a 50% acrylic top from Uniqlo 😭😭
I own Madrids
👍
I have a tencel bedsheet, its cold to the skin its a good feat specialy in a tropical country like mine, its pricey tho. Im glad its not made of platic trash that is a thing today in fast fashion clothing.
Good content, but The audio is problematic. Way too much echo.
how to different rayon and viscose?
i really love the presentation. can you explain about spun fabric? thank you. love from indonesia
You think this could be used for sportswear?
I love Lyocell
I bought a suit with capro lining. Never heard of it untill i saw the label. Thanks for the video
This video was very helpful, unfortunately not everyone affords wool and cashmere clothing, because of this many of us buy clothing made out of cheeper materials :(. For example in my country i find rarely stores which sell wool and cashmere and just relaying on online purchases, without feeling and checking if the measurements fit is also not good. But i am getting more and more interested in what materials are used in the clothing industry and these videos are very helpfull and informative. Thank you very much 😊❤.
my clothes has 30% acrylic
Thanks for these tips! I live in Malaysia where it's super humid all year around and I'm on a journey to be more mindful of the clothes I buy.
