They're still doing a lot of CSI stuff about the incident even up to the latest chapter. But this part is where the investigation really starts to take off. After all, the reason Aqua considered the role for the play was to do his own inside investigation, that's why we eventually see Gotanda being surprised learning about Akane since Aqua himself doesn't share that much information about his findings even with his own mentor.

12:10 I'm sorry if you think I criticize reactors too much but this is why, the blatant not understanding of why Kana is excited that Aqua wants to learn more about a subject that Kana is extremely good at is not understanding character relations, not understanding character conflict, and not remembering shit from episodes ago or even that Kana has a crush on Aqua from the first season Even if you say it's a small thing that will be remembered because of one line doesn't matter, because the bottom line is, this reactor forgot one of Kana's drives for even why she's doing this job in the first place I don't think this should be something that can even happen to a reactor, simply because their whole job is to watch a show I'll stop here but this moment is exactly why I do this, to indirectly call out these people who do the bare minimum to engage in the media they interact with and get the bare minimum out, arguably this is less than bare minimum because you're supposed to understand why a character wants to do something and this reactor doesn't

11:54 Aqua saying he can't do something is him giving his opinion on his own limitations, and just because you say, "You have to", or, "but it has to happen", doesn't mean the character will follow the exact train of thought needed to go through with breaking his own limitations of himself For instance, him asking Kana how she cries is a perfect way of him trying to become a better actor, but if he didn't ask her, it wouldn't be hard to say that he wouldn't improve

But also, I think it's important for reactors as a whole to be set at a specific standard, or else you'll have people that react to episodes weekly and not remember anything of what happened last week all because of needing to care about 5 episodes of continuing stories every week for more than about 3 months I would love it if you told me which exact comment I made that you think I was a bit too harsh on these reactors for though

7:41 He is, obviously, grateful that a new script was made that is alright for both of the characters entirely dedicated to making said new script but that'll mean a whole new problem for the actors who have to physically be present for the entirety of the script to come out in the way they want, in other words, one part is now done of this 3 part plan and now it's mostly up to the cast to do what is required of them
