Absolutely stunning piece! I ran across the 63 just recently and I am blown away. One the most interesting and unique watches anywhere. The other ones he makes even more so, but out of range for me too. I will be looking for the green 63 second-hand though. Nothing else looks remotely the same, and the polishing on the case is incredible as well. Thanks for a great review as there aren't' many around.

My Casio Duro Marlin (106G with the fish and gold rimmed bezel) is my most accurate wristwatch. Trusty Seiko Solar 100M is a close second, and my Hamilton Khaki King II, while not bad for an automatic (+/- 3 sec/day depending). I see Amazon has my model at $49.92 currently (07/23/2024). Unbeatable beater at that price. It's a viable dive watch (at least for snorkeling) with 200M, screw down crown, ratcheting bezel, great visibility and teriffic accuracy.

I picked up one of these several months ago, and added the combi bracelet to it, and yes, it was a bit of a pain. The standard DW-5600 also has an updated version that was released in March, as a Japan-only model. Not sure if it's made its way to the rest of the world yet though.

I need anothe Citizen dive watch like I need a hole in the head, and I tend to prefer thinner watches, but this has caught my attention. I wear the Fujitsubo regularly and am wearing the newest model Promaster Tough right now. I have a soft spot for Citizen titanium....

@@thetimebombardier Yes, yes! Thanks! 🙏🙂 They say that acrylic glass is better for outdoor and military watches because it can withstand impact better. It is scratched, but it is more difficult to break than mineral or sapphire glass. Regardless, I would be happier if the Command model had mineral glass 🙂👍

I put my G-5600U on a combi-bracelet as well, yes it's a complete nightmare fitting it but it does take it to the next level. Short of buying one of the fancy all titanium models at a very fancy price I reckon it's close to the ultimate G Shock for the money. The lack of sapphire crystal is the only tiny downside.

NEVER!!!!!!!!!! Can you ever have enough tools? Saddam is alive haha! The 5600U feels like a natural evolution of an already impressive watch. Do my eyes deceive me or does the buttons also look easier to press? I do the exact same thing. I have watches to work with and watches to wear in other situations. The 5000 seems very premium and although practical I would not wear it as a beater. The 5600U however is perfect... Staple and all haha! Have a great weekend man!

I have the ultem version of this wallet. The strap on mine has gotten loose and the hook/bottle opener keeps sliding out, which has become an issue as Ive almost lost it three times. I believe ive had mine for about 8 months.

I’ve had mine for a little over a year. Love hate relationship overall. Love the unique look, hate the misaligned bezel and movement that has no consistency. Had the bezel replaced twice by Seiko, only to receive one misaligned and scratched, and the second aligned but also scratched. After the second bezel replacement the watch was losing almost 2 minutes per day. Instead of sending it back to Seiko I sent it to an independent watchmaker who attempted to regulate it but it is still inconsistent. From +9, +20, to -25spd regardless of position. Part of me wants to sell it and start over with a clean slate spb151, but another part of me can’t bear the thought of parting with the first automatic Seiko I bought. I have an SLA033 which of course corrects all the deficiencies of the spb151, but lacks the character of the beveled sapphire crystal, and is of course way more expensive and can’t be a direct comparison.

I've had a dango wallet for like 4 years now, just sorta found it lying about. Basically just two pieces of aluminum, a rubber band, and a bit of leather, but it's done the job and looks pretty cool, and I get a lot of use out of the super simple bottle opener

Rhodesia... a sad story all round... The wallet has an interesting design! Seems super sleek and slim! The Cerakote is not the best but you can always have it powder coated or Duracoated if the finish bothers you! I dont think we have those here. Most guys are are on either the old leather bifold or something like the Travax slim tactical card carrier. Mine is a canvas wallet with a YKK zippers and two slim slots on the outside for holding either a knife, small flashlight or lighter. Have a great one man!

Not trying to be disrespectful but I think they look like something out of the timex expedition range. I don't mean that as bad just they're a 100 quid watch max. There's versions of the lunar pilot for only a few quid more or if you want something plastic, you can get a belter of a G shock for half the price. Great vid though, cheers 🍻

Pagani Design PD-1701 v3, especially if you can get the 500 tachymeter version with the 12-O'clock "willy", would rub that itch SO much more effectively. No comparison really, speccage- AND watery goodness-wise, and at a fraction of the cost. So very happy with mine.

(never expected to say so, as a notorious analog-chrono hater...) Picked one of these during the last sale on Ali, for a crazy low price. Got to say i'm more than pleased with it! And yeah, price vs value, there is NO comparison, you get 2 or 3 Paganis instead of this. Will last longer, you'll get much more joy, plus you can get all kind of color/style combos.

I dont mind the looks of this. I just think they could have made this from something better than plastic... Sorry, Bio-ceramic. Does seem to be a bit of a strap monster! 30m of water resistance is wild at that price man... The strap you got seems much nicer than the standard watch strap. If you enjoy it and get your monies worth then its money well spent but I wont buy one haha. Take care man and have a great weekend!

@@thetimebombardier Which haven’t I been looking at would be easier. 😂. I have a Laco type 2 in the collection. But lately I’ve been looking at Sinn and Damasko. I primarily buy automatic watches. But I’ve just added a u boat dark moon in white which is a quartz movement and plan to add a few more that I can use on holiday and not worry about damaging my more expensive watches. This Fraser seems to tick a few of those boxes and at 350 quid would be my cheapest watch by a long shot. So I can’t see any downsides

Great review. Just FYI, the Luminox is T25 and the deep blue is T100, so it's not apples to apples in regards to Tritium power. Luminox chooses the T25 for tactical reasons (so as not to be too bright in the field)

Love this watch, especially at a reduced price point but like you say, it would be nice to get those faults fixed. The price of Seiko's went ridiculous with no apparent increase in their quality, obviously thought they were missing out in the resurgence in Mechanical watch sales and subsequent profits. Shame about the non framed date window, unsigned crown and crappy strap though. From a homage point of view, the best and most accurate of them all is the Rdunae R2X. Great attention to detail & only two things it doesn't have, 1 I believe they've now rectified and the second, is the chamfer on the crystal which duplicates the minute track. This watch certainly does have that, love it. Good video.

I'd use it while riding my bicycle. Looks like the right volume for what i carry then. But won't need it elsewhere, at least if i'm not traveling abroad. Things don't get that wild here... In South Africa we dont do handbags as well. I do have one I put range ammo in though haha! This can be useful if someone wants to mug you then you can put a fake wallet and so on in there and give them the bag while you get your family to safety. That being said this is rather well made and I am not the type to give stuff to people of the unsavory type so who knows how that might go down. That lock is a cool design! Given your shirt pattern and the smaller size this could be great for smaller gear like an IFAK or a torch or something that you can hide reasonably well. Nice Duro Bro! Looks awesome! My neck of the woods is rather dangerous so I only use bags when I need some extra space and when I know I can keep control over it. Take care man!

That’s a shame. I have that movement in my Fujitsubo and it’s been very reliable.
I really like it, but I won't buy it because of the lack of mineral glass. In this respect, the Expedition Shock 200m is better.

@@thetimebombardier Yes, yes! Thanks! 🙏🙂 They say that acrylic glass is better for outdoor and military watches because it can withstand impact better. It is scratched, but it is more difficult to break than mineral or sapphire glass. Regardless, I would be happier if the Command model had mineral glass 🙂👍
I have had a G5600U for a few months now and very happy with it, although my poor eyesight means I may need to go back to analogue or GD 350 with a positive display. Great vid.

The cronos says 200m on the dial, u said they are both 300m. Also that's why the cronos is a thinner watch. Just saying

I put my G-5600U on a combi-bracelet as well, yes it's a complete nightmare fitting it but it does take it to the next level. Short of buying one of the fancy all titanium models at a very fancy price I reckon it's close to the ultimate G Shock for the money. The lack of sapphire crystal is the only tiny downside.

NEVER!!!!!!!!!! Can you ever have enough tools? Saddam is alive haha! The 5600U feels like a natural evolution of an already impressive watch. Do my eyes deceive me or does the buttons also look easier to press? I do the exact same thing. I have watches to work with and watches to wear in other situations. The 5000 seems very premium and although practical I would not wear it as a beater. The 5600U however is perfect... Staple and all haha! Have a great weekend man!

I have the ultem version of this wallet. The strap on mine has gotten loose and the hook/bottle opener keeps sliding out, which has become an issue as Ive almost lost it three times. I believe ive had mine for about 8 months.

I’ve had mine for a little over a year. Love hate relationship overall. Love the unique look, hate the misaligned bezel and movement that has no consistency. Had the bezel replaced twice by Seiko, only to receive one misaligned and scratched, and the second aligned but also scratched. After the second bezel replacement the watch was losing almost 2 minutes per day. Instead of sending it back to Seiko I sent it to an independent watchmaker who attempted to regulate it but it is still inconsistent. From +9, +20, to -25spd regardless of position. Part of me wants to sell it and start over with a clean slate spb151, but another part of me can’t bear the thought of parting with the first automatic Seiko I bought. I have an SLA033 which of course corrects all the deficiencies of the spb151, but lacks the character of the beveled sapphire crystal, and is of course way more expensive and can’t be a direct comparison.

I've had a dango wallet for like 4 years now, just sorta found it lying about. Basically just two pieces of aluminum, a rubber band, and a bit of leather, but it's done the job and looks pretty cool, and I get a lot of use out of the super simple bottle opener

Rhodesia... a sad story all round... The wallet has an interesting design! Seems super sleek and slim! The Cerakote is not the best but you can always have it powder coated or Duracoated if the finish bothers you! I dont think we have those here. Most guys are are on either the old leather bifold or something like the Travax slim tactical card carrier. Mine is a canvas wallet with a YKK zippers and two slim slots on the outside for holding either a knife, small flashlight or lighter. Have a great one man!

Not trying to be disrespectful but I think they look like something out of the timex expedition range. I don't mean that as bad just they're a 100 quid watch max. There's versions of the lunar pilot for only a few quid more or if you want something plastic, you can get a belter of a G shock for half the price. Great vid though, cheers 🍻

Pagani Design PD-1701 v3, especially if you can get the 500 tachymeter version with the 12-O'clock "willy", would rub that itch SO much more effectively. No comparison really, speccage- AND watery goodness-wise, and at a fraction of the cost. So very happy with mine.
(never expected to say so, as a notorious analog-chrono hater...) Picked one of these during the last sale on Ali, for a crazy low price. Got to say i'm more than pleased with it! And yeah, price vs value, there is NO comparison, you get 2 or 3 Paganis instead of this. Will last longer, you'll get much more joy, plus you can get all kind of color/style combos.

Stunning piece of horological KZread history. Hours/months of pleasure! Haha The watch world would be a far far less fun and interesting place without them. Put it in the box and get it back out to tell watch stories to the grand children ; ) Hitting more markers than some quartz watches (Citizen) I have experienced. Fitted rubber makes it so much nicer, but mine are safe queens lol.

Does seem to be a bit of a strap monster! 30m of water resistance is wild at that price man... The strap you got seems much nicer than the standard watch strap. @@thetimebombardier Which haven’t I been looking at would be easier. 😂. I have a Laco type 2 in the collection. But lately I’ve been looking at Sinn and Damasko. I primarily buy automatic watches. But I’ve just added a u boat dark moon in white which is a quartz movement and plan to add a few more that I can use on holiday and not worry about damaging my more expensive watches. This Fraser seems to tick a few of those boxes and at 350 quid would be my cheapest watch by a long shot. So I can’t see any downsides
And I really like the fact that the owner is still in the armed forces.

Great review. Just FYI, the Luminox is T25 and the deep blue is T100, so it's not apples to apples in regards to Tritium power. Luminox chooses the T25 for tactical reasons (so as not to be too bright in the field)

Love this watch, especially at a reduced price point but like you say, it would be nice to get those faults fixed. The price of Seiko's went ridiculous with no apparent increase in their quality, obviously thought they were missing out in the resurgence in Mechanical watch sales and subsequent profits. Shame about the non framed date window, unsigned crown and crappy strap though. From a homage point of view, the best and most accurate of them all is the Rdunae R2X. Great attention to detail & only two things it doesn't have, 1 I believe they've now rectified and the second, is the chamfer on the crystal which duplicates the minute track. This watch certainly does have that, love it. Good video.

In South Africa we dont do handbags as well. I do have one I put range ammo in though haha! This can be useful if someone wants to mug you then you can put a fake wallet and so on in there and give them the bag while you get your family to safety. That being said this is rather well made and I am not the type to give stuff to people of the unsavory type so who knows how that might go down. That lock is a cool design! Given your shirt pattern and the smaller size this could be great for smaller gear like an IFAK or a torch or something that you can hide reasonably well. Nice Duro Bro! Looks awesome! My neck of the woods is rather dangerous so I only use bags when I need some extra space and when I know I can keep control over it. Take care man!
