They closed sometime after 2005 (I can't find an exact date, but they were closed for a while) and reopened in 2010. None of their social media accounts have been active since 2017 and they don't have a website, so I assume they've closed again.

This was in 2005, and the rules were probably much different then now. Plus the first Cheerleading Worlds was in 2004 so lots of things are advancing now lol
+chibixaileen no they couldn't, this routine is so slow and the stunts are easy for level 5, Top Gun would slay them easily

Dang they are good. OMG that was amazing. Holy cow. That pyramid is sick. The whole routine is sick. Is miami elite back for this 2012-2013 season? I hope so. I'm going to have to watch this a lot to catch everything. The dance was real interesting. I haven't seen a dance like that.

to me Elite cheer and dance will never be the same as Miami elite even if they are changing they're name back, things are so much different now, if they would still be here they would be no doubt the best team around, i wish they had never closed </3
