Said no legitimate guitarist EVER about Satriani or Vai. Sometimes it's better to appear ignorant than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. The song isn't even shreddy.

Rush to me was "All the World's a Stage"....."Moving Pictures"....stuff before 2010. The last few tours were just awful. Geddy singing through his nose with some weird falsetto mumble half the time" .Songs slowed way down so Neil could keep up with all the original intricate drum fills. Let's not forget the stupid background people walking around and sausage machines looking like somebody taking a dump. THAT WASN'T RUSH, people. They should have retired after Vapor Trails and left us with dignity.

First song I ever saw them do when they opened in Baltimore with it in January 1979. Alex's dexterity hasn't left him although we're all a little longer in the tooth by now.
@waltjames4075 ай бұрын
Alex should have used a Telecaster more often live, it's one of his better tones. I remember him saying once that he did most of his writing on a Telecaster, and a lot of the early recordings actually sound like they were tracked with a Telecaster. I'm almost positive the bulk of guitars on Cygnus X-1 is a Telecaster.
