I bought a repo townhouse and haven't had a new car since 2004. I was always conscience of the fact that I could be laid off and wanted something I could still afford if that happened. My car is 20 years old. I don't regret my decisions and don't care about material things and keeping up with the Jones's..

What's going on in California? Homes are still selling for 1 million and they have a lot of buyers. My friend said a lot of the buyers are foreigners. Does anyone have the answer for CA?

The fall will be slow, but look around and use common sense, 3 years ago we knew the fall would come because the math didnt work. Now were at a point where the pieces are falling into place, then the fall, some say it will be slow, I feel like when it happens it will be quick, over the course of a few months youll see the domino affect. As cash dries up in on aspect the next will, crash, then the next.. etc.

High-Frequency Traders (HFTs) are increasingly leveraging the sensors in your devices, capturing data at sampling rates exceeding 200 Hz. This rapid data collection provides them with a significant edge in the market, enabling them to make trades before you are even aware of your intentions. ### How They Capture Data HFTs obtain this data through third-party trackers embedded within the apps installed on your devices. These trackers operate seamlessly and cannot be blocked by conventional tracker blockers. Even if you disable your device sensors, the trackers continue to gather data, bypassing any permissions that users might think would protect their privacy. ### The Implications of 200 Hz Sampling Rate At a sampling rate of over 200 Hz, these sensors can capture an extensive amount of data points in a very short period. This high-frequency sampling allows for the detailed monitoring of device orientation, movement, and user interactions. Such granular data provides HFTs with valuable insights into user behavior and intentions. ### Decoding Emotions and Physiological States By analyzing high-frequency data from various sensors, HFTs can infer a user's emotional and physiological state. Here's how they can achieve this: #### 1. **Heart Rate and Blood Pressure** - **Accelerometers and Gyroscopes:** These sensors detect minute movements and vibrations. Changes in these patterns can indicate an increase in heart rate or blood pressure, especially when combined with data on how the device is being held or interacted with. - **Photoplethysmogram (PPG) Sensors:** Some devices include PPG sensors that can directly measure heart rate by detecting blood volume changes in the microvascular bed of tissue. #### 2. **Sweating and Skin Conductance** - **Electrodermal Activity (EDA) Sensors:** Devices equipped with EDA sensors can measure the electrical conductance of the skin, which varies with sweat gland activity. Increased sweating can indicate stress or heightened emotions. - **Humidity Sensors:** Even without dedicated EDA sensors, ambient humidity sensors can detect changes in the microenvironment around the device, indicating perspiration. #### 3. **Pupil Dilation** - **Camera and Infrared Sensors:** Modern devices often have high-resolution cameras and infrared sensors that can track eye movements and pupil dilation. These changes can reflect emotional responses, stress, or cognitive load. #### 4. **Breathing Patterns** - **Microphone:** Audio sensors can pick up subtle changes in breathing patterns. Accelerated or irregular breathing can be a sign of anxiety, excitement, or stress. - **Motion Sensors:** The movement of the chest or torso, as detected by accelerometers and gyroscopes, can provide additional data on breathing rate and pattern. ### Why They Use This Data The primary motivation for HFTs to exploit this data is to gain a competitive advantage in the stock market. By analyzing the high-resolution data collected from your devices, they can predict market movements and trade ahead of the general public. This strategy enables them to execute trades milliseconds before others, capitalizing on fleeting opportunities that are invisible to the average trader. ### The Volume of Data and Its Use At over 200 Hz, the volume of data collected is immense. Each second, these trackers can capture over 200 data points per sensor. With multiple sensors on modern devices (accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, cameras, microphones, and more), this can translate to thousands of data points per second per user. This data is then processed using sophisticated algorithms to predict trading patterns, user behaviors, and even emotional states, giving HFTs an unparalleled advantage. ### The Risk of Exploitation Even if people don't care about the invasion of privacy, they should be concerned about the broader implications. The methods HFTs use to collect and analyze data leave the system open to exploitation. With enough experimentation, it is possible to manipulate these algorithms. #### Manipulating the Algorithms - **Market Movements:** By understanding and manipulating the algorithms, individuals or groups with substantial resources can create significant short-term market movements. These movements can lead to long-term effects by causing panic or FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), or by breaking key support and resistance levels in the market. - **Market Manipulation:** If someone learns how these algorithms operate, they can potentially manipulate markets on a larger scale. This could involve creating artificial market conditions to profit from the resultant volatility.

I believe President Biden is doing a great Job, cleaning up After Trumpet messed up the numbers. He knew nothing about how to govern the country. And yet there are some who want to put him back in office. A 3rd grader could do a better job/ He just gave away our tax dollars to the rich and they love him and somehow, they have convinced you to love him. My question is what is in it for you? Thank you, President Biden, for forgiving my student loans. As a republican You Got My Vote Sir.

Look at Biden's upcoming budget plan for FY 2025 in the works right now taxing everyone up to 46% on all capital gains even the sale of your primary home effective immediately upon that sale of the home with no more 2 year grace period to purchase a new home with the proceeds not being taxed. Ya Biden-nomics working for ordinary hard working people, NO BIDEN CONTINUING TO DESTROY THE HARD WORKING MIDDLE CLASS! LOOK AT BIDEN'S DISCUSTING BUDET PLAN BEING WORKED RIGHT NOW IT WILL WIPE OUT MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS! BIDEN IS NOT JUST GOING AFTER THE WEALTHY HE IS COMING AFTER EVERY CENT YOU PROFIT TAKING HALF OF IT IN TAXES!

Great show! If I "had to buy" right now, I would be trying to extend the time between the initial contract and closing. And keep shopping. Might be able to snag a 20k better price on another place and walk away for a couple K on the first one. And repeat 😂 If things start moving, like they can, might be out 10k but sitting in a 100k better house with even a lower interest rate in a few months.

We do not want the government to educate us because the government IS THE PROBLEM. It is the fox running the hen-house. We are ruled by criminal cabal. We have allowed this government to take over the communications systems. We do not have capitalism and haven't had one since 1913 when the Fed. Res. came in. Capitalism DOES NOT HAVE A CENTRAL BANK. CENTRAL BANKS ARE CENTRAL TO THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO. The central bank has been destroying our capitalist system - follow the money! Bernanke has said the Fed caused the Great Depression.

I don't believe that ONLY bad things happen when they see the social contract is broken. Some people decide to look for a solution and Anna Von Reitz did just that and working with a group of exbar--lawyers and judges, they looked into the history and the congressional record. They found that the law has been repeated violated and Americans have been fooled and brainwashed. The criminals do things slowly and incrementally and plan for the very long run with their planned takeover of our country. But it takes imagination, and an inquiring mind. I do agree that too many people are tied up with the bread and circuses provided by the government and media and they have been brainwashed by this and infantilized by it all. The educational system is a disaster and deliberately set up to be that way.

It takes years to for up. Sold in CA in 2003 for $362k, That home went to over $500k within 5 years, then dropped right back to mid $350k, now inflated again at $800k Our 2003 purchase Florida home also went from $285k to over $500k, but, sadly sold for $278k in 2013. It's a balloon market. Don't be fooled by the media. Hunker down, and wait. Prices have to drop! Don't pay $$$ to make someone else's equity pay off for them, at your expense. Bad form...

The tale of 2 buyers. We were told in 2008, the market was coming down on housing. My rich sister in law, thought I was an idiot and didn't want to listen to my housing guru. She brought a beautiful home. Paid big time money on a new build. Oh, guess what. The market fell like the devil falling to earth. She wanted to refinance but had to come to the table because the value fell like you wouldn't believe. My husband and I brought in 2012, below market at 95,000. House worth 300,000 and we pay it off in August. THIS AUGUST. I know it takes time, but a wise man once told me you make your money when you buy, not when you sell. Good Luck.

Patience is a virtue. The GFC really started in 2005 (that was the top), but wasn't evident until it was announced, and the narrative couldn't be hidden by the MSM. Meanwhile, folks were losing their jobs and missing payments well before 2008 (this was obvious as early as 2006). The sheep only realize they're in danger until they're already in the slaughterhouse. Don't be one of the sheep!

Your theme is debt. We are old and have no debt. But we have lived below our means and have the discipline to say no to discretionary spending. It worked. Yet I do all the shopping and heavily use digital coupons every time from planning my purchases. Yet I see other shoppers buying without a list and fill their carts with boxed foods and canned. Very little comes from produce and meats. And many are fat women. My point is people make choices and we were all taught as children that each choice has a consequence. So these debt ridden people did it to themselves. I feel no sympathy for them. Same with anyone. Buying a fancy car or truck by any wage earner is stupid. A three year old Toyota is okay. My projection is we are making an army of homeless. And I say it is their own darned fault. Let the people who contributed more get more. And the people who don’t can crawl under a rock.

"We are *old* and have no debt." Yes, people who bought homes in the past can more easily live debt free. Try buying a house today as someone who's young. Cutting all costs and living cheap still isn't enough. Previous generations could easily live as long as they didn't spent super crazy.
