I have been living here 10 years now. You should definitely visit park city. There are no black people in my neighborhood. A lot of Venezuelans recently moved here. So that is the diversity you get.

You will not find me stepping anywhere near this place. Be careful of Brazilian girls, I had a bad experience with 1 years ago. Fortunately, she dropped me without explanation which turned out to be a blessing. But I wish her well and no ill. Just don't get drawn in as they tend to get easily distracted either while in a friendship or straight after. It's very rare to meet someone with integrity. It's ironic as she is a teacher ? 😮 Perhaps they should teach the basics of a relationship in schools, respect yourself and each other. But again I wish only peace and good will but I doubt I would want to get into a relationship. This place is a matter of taste. Unfortunately, it's not to my taste.

Astoria and LIC are more of an East Indian flavor, with Chinese, Colombian, Dominican, Mexican, Brazilian and some Puerto Rican food as well. Much better West Indian food in Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, Jamaica, etc.
