instead of gunner or painter.. they should have ShapeShifter like warewolf or vampire.. which is more sense in the era of the game

There is too many variables when it comes to pvp , if we include the fact that players can have many gears to use , RNG of minion skills , RNG of some skills , i think bard is the best cause he have evrything heal and cc skills while sorc is the worest cause he rely on combo to kill and this combo is countred easily by glyphs , when they cant balance the classes they include more RNGes

Really really good video mate! Thank you. For me Aion died in 4.0. I love the 2.0 patch and I play Aion Classic, but the classic is F2P, P2W and P2P at the same time. So I only buy membership when I'm in vacation.
I honestly don't understand why they would go to a subsciption based game with such a low and I mean a incredibly low population of players. Maybe they thought thousands would come back.. They were wrong. They need to make it free to play, there's always going to be a pay to win in ANY MMO. But yeah NA Classic is dead, not as dead as the live patch, but it's dead. Making it a sub game with only a free hour no sub is the worst decision they have made, they don't think that this is NA, it's not korea. NA players will not pay for a dead game, only nut cases with mental illness.
Well. I am going to disagree with a lot on this list. I know this is a old video now, but in my opinion, Spirit Masters have always been the number 1 best pvp class for 1 on 1 matches. Especially if they use their "fear" skills. Don't believe me? Funeral has won the 1v1 tournament many times, and Funeral is a Spiritmaster player for the asmodians (not sure if he still plays) but he had won tournaments WITHOUT USING FEAR until the final match. Secondly, Songweavers are the 2nd best class of the game. I would not put a assassin over a templar, a good templar is going to crush an assassin any day, as would a SM, and good SW. The gunslinger was my main and favorite class, but I would bump that down to a B class with ranger and bump gladiator down since this is 1v1 scenario and not group pvp which they then become the best class, definitely best x form of all time. Put the Chanter, AT in A class, Sorc in S class. With that being said, it hurts me to see my favorite class the gunslinger to be so bad. What makes them bad now is it's not wise to use the x2 buff skills "stopping power and pressured chamber" for pvp buffs anymore.. They are greater stigmas now, and you would much rather have other skills than those 2, especially cannon skills since gunners now need to utilize their cannons more these days, so paralysis cannon is a must skill. As a gunner main, I'd argue that Gunner can beat assassin all day and the trick is... Play like an assassin, you burn your skills, run away, come back when ready to use skills again. What sucks is their teleport skill is now a DP skill I believe, so that was a major nerf. I'd put the assassin maybe in A tier. Let me make my list below and this is my opinion. S+ Spiritmaster and Songweaver S Templar, Cleric (2012 main), Asassin A Sorcerer, Aethertech, Vandal B Gunslinger, Chanter, Gladiator I think a good gunslinger can definitely go up if played correctly. However, the damage buffs are practically gone because you don't wanna replace better stigmas just to use them. If you play like an assassin with the gunslinger, you can do good. Same with Vandal class apparently. The chanter has always been a question mark for me because I have seen them destroy every class, especially good players like Donnybrook on the asmo side back in the day (not sure if he plays but just youtube). Obviously best group pvp classes are going to be gladiator, spiritmaster and cleric. My final prediction as I have said over the years.... Templar and Gladiator will eventually become the number 1 best pvp classes, even aethertech. As the game progresses, HP increases so much and armor, those days of 1 shotting people plates are going to be long gone and they are going to eat your entire skill combos and you're gonna be on CD and get spanked. Lastly, I just want to mention a overgeared chanter just about crushes anything that isn't equally as geared. Final note.. The Templar is going to be the number 1 pvp class by the time the last patch comes out before Aion shuts down for good. Damage is always going up in the game, and they have never taken away the templars survival and defense skills which remain in the class, that is the problem. They just keep getting more damage and crit, and never lose any defense, and pretty soon, players will see templars even more so. Then again ever since 4.0 templar has been strong and 1 shotted people at that point.

I've been playing mmorpgs for over 20 years now. I started with Runescape, moved to WoW, also tried Rift, Tera, Guild Wars 2, Neverwinter, Dungeons and Dragons, FFXIV online, Swords of Legends online. Aion was the only MMO that stood out to me out of all of them. It had the most beautiful looking leveling zones and graphics at the time. I just checked to see if the game was still being played today and I'm so glad it is! LETS GO!!!

I've been playing roughly 4 hours got into the Asmodian city and it was ghost town. Do people still play now? It might be on its way out... I played back in 2010ish at its peak and there we're players every corner and loved it. Aion Classic I think is dead now but Is it still worth playing? I know the P2W model sucks but most MMOrpgs are P2W these days and doesn't bother me too much, you still have to grind dungeons and PvP at max level to get the best gear like you said so for me its no biggie just not newb friendly. I do wish i ignored the criticism when it released because more people played at the time so i could of had a better experience. I Maybe jumping in for nostalgia at the moment.
Aion classic has proven itself to be a quick cashgrab by ncsoft (in the West), I would not recommend playing it

What are your thoughts on the following: They should remove candies for classic in general(not only from the shop). Imo with the candies the game doesnt Look like the actual classic game. Everything looks so childish and like a Circus. An option to disable the visuals of candies is also needed. Thank you for the content!
Candies are ok in old school aion but I have always been annoyed by animal skins and the need to use a candy to reach attack speed caps

Great video! What about in 4.6? I recently got an extend GS. I originally wanted to use an extend PA but i haven't been lucky to get it. For PVP, will an extend GS be a good choice?
I suggest you to use a polearm, greatsword as secondary choice

Sure, the build is 80 foc / 150 con at this point. I socked an amber gem in my sword to do a bit more damage, though for now it is a low level gem. I recommend to level up until 25 ish with str / con and then reset (maybe even later). @@Donee with this build you can easily solo a lot of content but it's slower than your current build, because your dmg output is based only on weapon dmg + the tiny fraction boosted by amber gem. In pvp, with the correct setup, you are almost impossible to kill but killing other healers is difficult. Pure dps players are very easy to kill. For solo content this is a great build but it's not the fastest. You can swap at 30 definitely
@@Nukedw would you recommend any weapon swap for pve or other reasons? Or just keep this weapon set for everything?
Just did my first pvp with this build against an ice/rapier mage, never was so easy to deal with them. ☺ Pretty happy with it, keep posting content for us
