  I far prefer Ms. Huang's performance here to William Primrose's legendary one. (He has some intonation problems). She has the full measure of the piece. Bravo! Bax deserves to be heard way more often than he is - a VERY interesting and compelling composer.

  Left unfinished when Bartok died in 1945, his friend and colleague Tibor Serly, completed and orchestrated the Concerto using Bartok's 13 page short score.

  Thank you! There was the fear that the performance would have been too long although I would perform it in full today. This was a premiere in Taiwan and the audience never heard this piece.
