Oh! WOW!!! Such a pretty rock. Bet it's even nicer in person. Now I've had my wow fix for the day. Thank you.

I certainly hope you didn't have to pay too much per carat considering you lost about 2/3rds the original weight in the preforming process. Hopefully, it doesn't also require heat treatment as well ?
It was part of a large rough lot so the price is averaged over the entire lot. In the end it is far better to have a beautiful gem than a bigger and ugly one... Off the top of my head I don't recall if this one was heated or not, but if heated it is usually heated in the rough as the heating can damage the polish.
Its beautiful 😊
thank you!
The modern cuts look like glitter balls . You cannot tell what you are looking at . I love old mine cut and old European cuts
I feel the same way. I left a comment on a different KZread video, where they were cutting all this "new shapes", is modern jewelry taking the we cut any shape now, instead of making cuts that actually bring out all of the qualities of the stone?
Stairway to heaven...
I've seen people drop thin shavings of ginger into champagne. That's what this reminds me of😅
Love the holo-foil like effects in thus one

I'd always appreciated your StarBrite style for being a bit different, but couldn't have explained how or why until this video. Fascinating - thank you!
