    That would be very funny if it probably wasn't true. But if he tries to max all of his guys, he'll have an expensive team that is not very good.

    @@ericjonsports he doesn't try to max all of his players he tries to max his earnings. NBA requires a minimum spent on salaries of which he recovers 4% as fees.

    I agree, but it makes more sense to me to honor an entire career instead of putting someone in multiple times for random parts of their career. Besides, IRS is an iconic character and deserves induction in my opinion. I feel like Scott Hall's career was shorted by only going in as Razor Ramon

    What is losing the nba the most money is lack of viewership due to stars lack of playing , as well as the half a billion dollars these players cost . How much money could today’s league be making if no one watches or buys merchandise ? On top of being paid 50 million a year

    Hall of Famers should be recognized for what they put into the wrestling business just as much as their popularity. I think more jobbers ought to be recognized for making other wrestlers look good. I think Steve Lombardi and Johnny Rodz is in, but what about others like Iron Mike Sharpe?

  • @ericjonsports

    I've always felt that Barry Horowitz should be in the Hall. He was the absolute best enhancement talent the fed had in my opinion. And Lombardi was as good a soldier as Vince had. If his chauffeur can get in, then Lombardi should have been in long ago.

    Somewhere along the line, Bradshaw acquired the reputation of being something of a yokel (think of the Hollywood Henderson quote), and he kind of embraced it, which, while it made him a lot of money and a lot of fans, it may have hurt his legacy in discussions like this. People think of him as that goofy guy on TV, rather than as a great NFL quarterback. I kind of wonder if the same thing is going to happen to Shaq.

  • @ericjonsports
    @ericjonsports4 ай бұрын

    Good Points. The difference with Shaq is that others will talk about how dominant he was. Terry's opponents don't talk much about him. Keeping in mind that it WAS 50 years ago.

    Uh no. Mike first started out on the bulls with the traveling cocaine circus. He was going up against a tough eastern division going against hall of famers. You pointed out that james can only win when he is carried by other players. By that definition he’s not top 10. He is also the player with the most turnovers in NBA history. He plays no defense and throws players and coaches under the bus when things go bad. He needs to retire already.

    Normally, I would agree with you, but having as many coaches as you've has seasons in the league could irritate anyone. They played better with Pierce at the helm, so a one year deal with a second year team option should be enough for him to prove himself worthy and satisfy the players.

    wow thats some great points. I feel like the award is voted on based on 3-4 different metrics: WAR, fWAR, RBIs, and FIP. It doesnt rely on if your manager is willing to not be a shit team, if you know what I mean. RBIs are a huge factor, showing how many runs you drove in, and WAR showing how much you contributed compared to other candidates. Threw in FIP as Fielding independent pitching too because pitchers arent out of MVP races aswell.

    Found a stat that says that the team's defense has finished in the bottom half of the league for the last 20 years in a row, and over his nine years in the league, the Raiders were the worst over that same period. Even with that, the did make the Playoffs twice and then fired the coach as soon as they were eliminated. Not even Brady could thrive under these circumstances.
