Today's Task is DIY channel.
Look, we all have a to do list that requires us to complete tasks. I'm a Dad a Husband and a Home Owner. I have a to do list that's a mile long. I want to show you my projects, hobbies and anything that I am either building or destroying. I don't claim to be a professional who knows all, but I am a capable person wanting to save a few bucks doing it myself. I firmly believe that there is no better satisfaction than completing a daunting task on your own even if the expectation and reality are miles apart. So in short, get out your tools, get dirty and get started completing your tasks with me. Lets cross off one task at a time.

Good idea ,...".done all
That snickers bar that you took a bite out of eventually turned to poop that came out of your butt
Nice, storage area came out really nice.
Great job, I’ve got those same shelves. I called the manufacturer of those shelves due to a similar problem and they mailed me intermediate shelf brackets that will fit between the front and back 4’ shelf bracket to provide support in the middle. They provided it free of charge due to them probably knowing this is an issue. My recommendation is to always contact a manufacturer for any product if you experience a problem. More times than not, they will do something to remedy the issue.
Too many shortcuts.
I painted my shelves to seal out the moisture. Just used up leftover paints.
Honestly it looks horrible.
So im gonna have 30,000 pounds sitting on 4 dinky little bolts? What kinda sorry design is this
The 30,000 lb rating if for pulling not all 30,000 being set on the hitch.
Where do you get the can rack? I want one.
They don’t make them anymore. I wish I could have two of them.
Any issue with mice down there?
No mice in this room.
Was looking to buy metal shelves for the garage your video gave me great insight thank you
T-Mobile recently started ending home internet accounts for people who are not using it for the address it was signed up for. Are you using this T-Mobile home internet and have they cut your account because you are using in other locations, or are you using some other T-Mobile internet plan
Hi Joel would you be able to reccomend a particular edger or lawn trimmer (or both). I want to get a nice one for my husband as a gift. The struggle is real with the one he has trying to keep our yard edged & trimmed nice. Thank you!
I really like echo brand. Home Depot carries them. 👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Cody, you’re hired!!! Way to go on helping your dad out 🥰

You always amaze me! Great job, Joel.
Nice...
Great episode. I found it interesting that Joel used the store's cutting service when he could easily do it at home.
He has buildt a whole house.. I would do the easy thing too 😂
Holy moly wood is super expensive, eh? 4 shelves for 16 bucks is up my alley😂 I'm in love with your cold storage room because I definitely don't have room for one in my small rented apartment.
Love it and love how the kids pitch in to help
Looks great! I'm so impressed by Olivia. She gets in there and gets it done! Way to go girl! :)

Joel, My Mom and I enjoy watching Today's task. My Dad passed away on March 11, 2021. Both my Mom and I are disabled. To bad Utah us far away from Lansing, Illinois. We live 30 minutes south of Chicago. We would have hired you. There are many things around our house that needs to be fixed. Well best wishes with everything you, Bonnie and your family do. You guys bring sunshine in our lives ❤❤❤
Same! 😊👍
I remember years ago Joel said when he hits 100,000 subscribers they would do a giveaway or something of him travelling to fix viewers “tasks”. I hope that is still true.
Thanks for the tips!
Very cool, but I'm extremely impressed with my Soundavo WS66I. Check that system out, particularly if you're building a new home and can wire ethernet cables throughout.
What’s the span? W10x 30?
thank you for explaining it.i keep hearing the rule 1/4 inch per foot but i dont know why. i was just going to make it straight. but now i know why
Does the ball come out in case you need to carry something flat, like plywood?
Thank you for this. I learned so much.
It's a good idea to always discharge the capacitors before pulling the wires off.
Hi Joel. This is how to check which capacitor it was: * Turn the AC off at the thermostat and throw the breaker for the AC. * Turn multimeter to volts and check C to herm, Herm to fan, and C to fan. This discharges the capacitor. * Take picture of terminals, so you know where they go when replacing the terminals on the contacts * Now disconnect terminals and set meter to capacitance to measure microfarads. * Measure common to fan and common to herm (hermetically sealed compressor) and compare it to the label on the capacitor The larger capacitor starts your compressor (Herm) and the smaller capacitor starts your fan.
Very helpful thank you.
do you install the lintel on the inside of the window only? or on both sides, the inside and outside of the window?
I only do the inside.
To cut out the vent you could use a router with a bearing on the end.
Where's the egress window install video?
Amazes me how people do these demonstration videos without practicing first to test results. FAIL.
Absolute fail.
What about expansion
This brand of vinyl flooring has a micro amount of expansion.
I think it's time you guys joined the 20th century and started using metric like the rest of the world!
Someone sat on my toilet in my RV and now it’s leaking from the bottom. Could it be that valve? I have a 26DBH Grey wolf. How do I know what type of valve to get? Thank You, Maria
Good job Cody
....................no bushings..................so soap.........................the pecker head is to big....................wire should be pulling from the bottom of the reel.........wire feeding to close to the panel .........................
Change a silicon
Thank you so much for educating us ❤
Do you not need an expansion gap? Curious since I’ll be doing this soon
Ya got to give it to him. He is persistent at proving a point. Thank you
