    I hesitated on the preorder until I could see some live unboxings since I wasn't sure how the still photos would translate to real life. So charmed by everyone's pens that I ordered a medium today with the ruthenium trim. Pretty pen! I love the "wave" swirl in the cap section!!!

    I just received my version a couple of days ago!! Absolutely beautiful in person! I felt that inking it up with Anderillium’s Cuttlefish Brown was an appropriate choice, giving my writing a cool, vintage look.

    Lovely pen, Anita! Love the Leonardo‘s very much lately! In case you like the flexies as well - the line variation of the Flex EF is a dream. Did you try Leonardo‘s CSI nibs? Like them a lot - like a Journaler or not too broad stub nib. Enjoy it!!! 🤗

    I gotta say, I really love ♥your "random" collections and your honesty and enthusiasm. Your happiness and love for your pens really shines! Your collection feels and looks like it belongs to a real person, rather than something created for content or camera presence. In all honesty, too many FP enthusiasts on KZread copy each other and their videos start to blend together after a while. I love seeing pen collections that have a variety of price points, brands, styles, colors that reflects the KZreadr's personality, taste and growth. TBH, when collections are entirely comprised of hand tuned 14K or 22K nibs, handmade high-end pens that are all $200 - $300+ (WHOA) while super gorgeous to look at, it can feel a little hard-to-relate-to. Whenever everything is too flawlessly arranged and color coordinated it feels too picture-perfect to be real (Stepford Pen Collection). You should continue to buy whatever feeds your eye appetite, without worrying about "randomness", because your pen collection feels like one colorful, really happy, well-loved, extended family. You seem to have a sense of loyalty, fairness and appreciation for ALL your pens, even if they're "practical" and no longer the shny, new pen on the block----you don't automatically toss them aside to the pay-no-mind heap. Are you an ENFP, by any chance?. Please resist falling into the KZread conformity / trendiness trap. Stay true-to-you. Your authenticity is really refreshing, relatable and greatly appreciated!

    Thank you so much for your thoughtful (and insightful) comments! My fp hobby feeds my emotional side and brings me a lot of joy. I don't think I'll ever have a highly curated collection of pens, there are so many good ones at lower price points and I enjoy experiencing as many different pens as I can and sharing the journey with whoever wants to come along. I'm very open about my hobby here but I'm an introvert in person (too much people-ing in person gets tiring) and I'm typically very analytical and linear in my thinking and just in general LOL. It's funny how you see my creative, feeling side so clearly here! I'm an ISTP. Thanks so much for watching❣

    I can’t wait to see which Pilot Capless you get first 😁 my first capless was the matte black in fine 🖤 My favorite for June was my LAMY Al Star Turmaline and J. Herbin Bleu Calanque. I bought that ink to use in that LAMY and it did not disappoint with its medium nib. I love the color of the ink and the shadingggg~ 🥰🥰🥰 *chef’s kiss* I could stare at my writing all day when I use Bleu Calanque. Also, Igor your favorites, I thought for sure you’d make your Jinhao centennial as the best out of the three lol

    Technically my first fountain pen was a bamboo pen I was asked to review from a vendor on Amazon in 2017 but it was a cartridge pen and a fine nib and I really didn’t care for it. So when I really started to experiment with fountain pens in February 2023 my first pen was the Duke Charlie Chaplin pen in purple with a Fude nib. I loved it so much I purchased the same color with a medium nib as I realized after the fact that 1. Fude nibs were not as easy as I thought to use and 2. The nibs are not removable in this Duke pen. It is a very heavy pen which I love. It is around $20 and is still probably my favorite out of all of my pens I have purchased so far.

  • @anitaanglin
    @anitaanglin21 күн бұрын

    I love it. I realized for me the magic of fountain pens is in the ink and that has led me to love broader nibs so I can see the properties of the ink. I have two extra fine nibs that I hardly ever use - one on that first TWSBI.
