Merced County is Murderced Bounty this county is a financial trap ..There court system robs you of your rights This county has the highest conviction rate than any state or county in the USA put together. They always end cases with plea bargaining meaning they don't have enough evidence for a trial..The court system is in it for it self an convert human bodies into cash. They offer insanity plea that comes with frying your brain on drugs they force you to take.. I remember a Chinese man in county jail. He was caught with small amount of weed..He spoke limited English. They offered insanity plea an he was transferred to mental hospital. I remember being jail twice in 10 years ..This China man was being transferred back forth to merced court an back to hospital for 10 years..Each time he returned his mind was destroyed he could even read a letter from his mother. He ask me to read it. It said his mother including his family left america because they so frighten of the legal system.. They abondon there son an this man never got to see the day light ever again..They turned this man into a mentally retarded person that could not grab enough attention to read a letter not even in a court room. If you lack English in Merced court they take advantage an rape you..

Now it is September 24, 2020 and Merced County is still looking for Someone who will Test autonomous cars at Castle and help them invest the 6.5 million Adam Gray got them for car testing. Now they have retained a executive search company to find them a manager for vehicle testing at Castle. Mark Hendrickson has failed at trying to find a investor who will test autonomous cars at Castle other than WAYMO and help the County spend their 6.5 million. The County paid Adam Wasserman of GLD Partners $971,000 for Executive brilliance between 2014 and 2017, and all they got for that money is dumb ideas that will not work. Housing would be a gold mine at Castle, so Daron McDaniel tried to invent an imaginary non existent law that forbids housing at Castle. Simple ideas will work at Castle. Empty hangars could become self storage for motor homes, campers and farm equipment. The old Chapel could be a big restaurant with banquet rooms. Old hangars could become offices. Bare land could become a subdivision, golf course, and shopping center. All we have to do is advertise to bring investors. Hendrickson follows in the footsteps of previous Castle managers and keeps Castle undeveloped for the benefit of private land developers. We desperately need to get rid of Hendrickson and McDaniel and bring the 25 years of mismanagement at Castle to a end.

What is the street address where their cars are parked? Oops, this big dream never happened! Hendrickson and McDaniels fumbled the ball again!

Go to your You Tube Search Box and type,"McClellan Park Amenities and Future Development". This will show you exactly what we should be doing at Castle. The Former McClellan AFB is a "Gold Mine" industrial Park, providing 18,000 jobs to the Sacramento Area. Old Officer Apartments became a 5 star Hotel and Restaurant. Old Dorms became beautiful apartments that are well cared for by the people who are proud to live in them. Old hangars became self storage for campers and boats. Other old hangars became factories, retail space and offices. Old buildings with ASBESTOS were brought back to use after professionals performed necessary asbestos remediation procedures to make them safe. McClellan is like Castle - there is no BRAC Agreement making it illegal to live at either place. Merced County's 2017 agreement with the Port of Los Angeles creating the Mid California International Trade District at Castle is a STUPID, STUPID, STUPID embarrasment, created by a pathetic little weasle named Adam Wasserman of GLD Advisors, Flagstaff Arizona. It assumes that a unknown foreign investor will show up out of nowhere and drop One Billion Dollars on making Castle a Manufacturing Hub, A Cargo Hub, a auto testing hub, etc. and this will bring 10,000 jobs. A cargo hub needs an eastern Connection. A little tiny park called Yosemite stands in our way and a little mountain range called the Sierra Nevada stands in our way and a little tiny Nevada desert stands in our way. A manufacturing hub has to compete with cheap labor in third world countries. WAYMO auto testing fits Castle but their competitors will want to be miles away where they are isolated from WAYMO. Castle does not even satisfy Waymo's needs. WAYMO has a huge auto testing program in Arizona. Merced County's Commerce Department, managed by Mark Hendrickson and Mark Mimms runs investors away from Castle and sends them to realtors and developers of nearby private land., Including Steve Tinetti, with his old Pepsi Plant for sale. This bait and switch crap suggests that county officials are being paid under the table to compete with the county and they need to be fired and investigated by law enforcement and the IRS. The bait and switch seems to have gone on for many years. The Joint Powers authority wanted to knock down 80 buildings in 2000 and they wanted Federal Funds for the demolition. Now Hendrickson wants to demolish 55 buildings . We have to wonder if demolition contractors might be offering bribes to local officials.

This Parkway puts U.C. Merced in the middle of a new route from South Merced to Atwater. This takes traffic away from old established businesses , reducing their sales revenue and profits. Eventually new business will spring up on the new route and benefit from it while old businesses remain permanently damaged. These businesses are like the guy who owns a motel or gas station on the old highway when he finds out the highway is being moved. Before a new expressway gets built, the politicians and their buddies usually buy cheap land along the proposed new route and make windfall profits from the increase in land values. I am hoping Mark Hendrickson does not mess this up, like he messes everything else up. I am hoping a good investor will buy the old Supply Squadron Dorms at Castle and turn them into a luxury hotel with freeway access and I am hoping a investor will turn the old Castle Chapel into a large 5 star restaurant with convention facilities, conference rooms and dining for tour buses.

Some citizens fear losing their jobs and homes because of COVID 19 . Daron McDaniels says these people are misinformed. His Wife, Buffy McDaniels, is a Mortgage Lender. She is Branch Manager of Land Home Financial Services. Local Politicians have put Real Estate Developers and Mortgage Lenders ahead of the majority of taxpayers for years. This is why 55 buildings have sat vacant at Castle for 25 years - Politicians do not want this property competing with nearby mortgaged property owned by Builder/Developers. This is also why vacant land at Castle does not get developed! A year and a half ago I suggested we develop Castle by turning old dorms into apartments and by building homes on bare land at Castle. Daron said I was "misinformed" (completely off base) because our original BRAC Agreement made it illegal for people to live out there. He did not seem to realize that people have been living out there for years and paying rent to his buddy Mark Hendrickson at the Castle Commerce Center. When you disagree with "razor sharp" McDaniels he calls you misinformed.

Our greatest COVID-19 Threat is The Former Castle AFB, now that it is the Mid California International Trade District. Mark Hendrickson spearheaded the effort to reduce pollution from California's 80,000 pollution causing trucks at Castle. We need to test the 80,000 truck drivers parked at Castle to see if they have the virus!! Castle has become a manufacturing hub with 10,000 manufacturing jobs planned. Those 10,000 workers need to stay home to prevent spread of the virus. Castle is now an inland port, so we must quarantine the crews of the cargo ships docked at Castle. Our County Supervisors have worked with Adam Wasserman of GLD Partners to make Castle a rail cargo hub and a trucking cargo hub. Cargo hubs need a Eastern Connection, so we need Park Service permission to build a super highway through Yosemite to Central Nevada and a Railroad Line through Yosemite to Central Nevada. Funding these construction projects in the middle of a virus pandemic should not be a problem because Adam Wasserman is an expert on supply chain econometrics with demand utilization, supply chain development and process parameter expansion of multiple asset distribution channels. Razor Sharp McDaniels is a miracle worker and he appreciates our Nepa and Mepa from Dana Hurtfelter. Next will be a double geepa zeepa with whipped cream on top. Daron got a chance to ride, raid, rod the A Train to San Jose.

Daron McDaniel says it is illegal for people to live at Castle, while Student Pilots live in the Summit Dorm Complex, people live in the apartments beside the Air Museum RV Park and people live full time in RV's at the RV Park! There are some dorms inside the Waymo lease and some Waymo employees sometimes sleep in some of these dorms, rather than driving back to Silicone Valley in the evening. DARON McDANIEL CRITICIZES A LETTER WRITER AND THE LETTER WRITER IS CORRECT AND DARON IS A LOST AND CONFUSED IDIOT !!! Daron, It is not illegal for people to live out there!!!! McDaniel and Hendrickson have the unmitigated Gall to claim dorms built in 1990 contain asbestos, 12 YEARS AFTER THE USAF QUIT PUTTING ASBESTOS IN BUILDINGS!! HENDRICKSON HAS BEEN DOING A BAIT AND SWITCH FOR YEARS - INVESTORS wanting buildings at Castle get sent to private property near castle. Go to www.investmerced.com and click "Property Search" and see this monkey promoting the old Pepsi Plant for Tinetti Real Estate instead of promoting the 55 vacant buildings at Castle. McDaniel does not want to see more rental housing at Castle because it will compete with mortgaged private housing nearby, financed by mortgage lenders including his wife, Buffy McDaniel of Land Home Financial Services. Public employees have pulled manipulations since the base closed to keep Castle property off the market and they have not done it without someone rewarding them under the table with some kind of kickbacks. The IRS needs to figure out if Hendrickson is getting commissions from realtors and laundering the money through a Foreign Corporation. Sierra Aviation is a foreign corporation that works closely with Mark Hendrickson and the IRS should look at the relationship between Sierra and Hendrickson.

Daron says THE LETTER WRITER IS OFF BASE wanting people to live at Castle because it is a violation Federal Law under our original BRAC Agreement, and people living there WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Daron, you are a TOTAL IDIOT! A bunch of people already live at Castle and rent from Merced County through Mark Hendrickson, Director of the Castle Commerce Center. Between 40 and 100 student pilots at Sierra Aviation Academy live in the Summit Dorm Complex at Castle and that rental agreement allows Sierra to expand up to 500 student pilots. They have been living there since 2006. YOU SAY THESE DORMS ARE VACANT AND FULL OF ASBESTOS, when they are not vacant and they are TOTALLY VOID OF ASBESTOS. THEY WERE BUILT IN 1990, 12 YEARS AFTER THE USAF QUIT PUTTING ASBESTOS IN BUILDINGS.!!! DARON, YOU ARE TOTALLY OFF BASE and the LETTER WRITER IS TOTALLY CORRECT!!! I am that letter writer and you are a Bird Brain!!

Merced County signed an agreement with the Port of Los Angeles in 2017, turniing Castle into the Mid California International Trade District. We were PROMISED 10,000 jobs at Castle from this. WHERE ARE THESE JOBS, folks!! YOU PROMISED US THOSE JOBS and DELIVERED NOTHING!!! Do You remember your stupid rhetoric?? Castle is supposed to be an Inland Port now, and a CARGO HUB, eleminating emissions from 18,000 pollution causing trucks!! Castle provides less than 1800 jobs, while the former McClellan AFB provides over 18,000 jobs. CASTLE OPERATES AT LESS THAN TEN PERCENT EFFICIENCY!! YOU IDIOTS HAVE NOTHING BUT BIG STUPID EMPTY PROMISES!! Mark Hendrickson is a stupid wet dream!! Get rid of him and hire a real manager with a proven record of positive cash flow and accomplishment. We need to replace 3 Supervisors in the next election. Local government has demolished over 80 buildings at Castle and Hendrickson wants to destroy 55 more. These buildings are vacant eyesores because Hendrickson's Department of Commerce runs business off!! The Department of Commerce does not bother advertising the 55 Commercial Buildings for sale or lease at Castle, but they advertise the old PEPSI PLANT for sale or lease and it is privately owned and at the WRONG AIRPORT. (see www.investmerced.com) The Mid California International Commerce Center is a ridiculous smoke screen for Hendrickson running Castle into the ground. He must be getting commissions from private realtors and laundering the money. Our County Supervisors should have fired Hendrickson and Mimms years ago and we do not need any more worthless advice from GLD Partners (Adam Wasserman).

Wowwie! The new brewery taproom at Castle will probably bring us about 25 new jobs. Now, where are the 10,000 jobs we were promised at the "Mid California International Trade District at Castle?" Castle AFB, Mather AFB and McClellan AFB were Air Force Bases that closed in the 1990's. Today McClellan is a industrial Park with 18,000 jobs, Mather has 12,000 jobs and Castle has less than 1800 jobs. Why is Castle only operating at 10 percent efficiency??!! We need to replace the pathetic losers on our County Board of Supervisors.

There are 1703 dorm beds at castle and this would make wonderful housing for University students. Most of these beds are in the Summit Dorm Complex, built in 1990 and totally asbestos free. This was built 12 years after the USAF quit putting asbestos in buildings. This complex i s 1 person and 2 person rooms with individual bathrooms and kitchenettes and believe it or not, it is solid concrete with brick trim, and it is much nicer than the new dorms at the University! Five 3 story buildings surround a central courtyard with a beautiful dining facility and some classrooms. Approx 40 to 100 Sierra Aviation student live in this complex and use the dining and classrooms. This leaves 90 percent of the 1400 beds there vacant and waiting for college students.Mark Hendrickson has cut off all irrigation water to the Summit Complex and it needs to be turned back on. The new expressway will put this housing just minutes away from UC Merced and Merced College. Transit bus service already connects this housing to the University. This housing has sat vacant for 24 years because County Employees are too lazy to maintain rental units. There has been vandalism and there is broken glass but this is easy to repair. Visit www.investmerced.com and you will see why we have vacant buildings at Castle. County government is helping private realtors sell private land and not trying to sell or lease County vacant buildings. Hendrickson's department competes with the County rather than working for the county. They must be getting commissions from the competitor. County Officials have created imaginary asbestos to keep this housing empty and they have kept County Supervisors fooled for most of the last 24 years. Now the asbestos story is proven false so officials are trying to say it is illegal to live out there. Merced officials collect rent from Sierra Aviation on 40 to 100 rooms and try to say these rooms are vacant and loaded with asbestos when they are in reality loaded with student pilots. Think about that for a second - They say the rooms are vacant while they are collecting rent from people living in them!!!! Putting University Students in this housing would more than double the real estate income at Castle. There are 2 apartment complexes at Castle that would make good student housing also. County Supervisors want Castle to be a Manufacturing Hub and a rail cargo hub and these ideas will not work. If a billionaire wants to do a big project in Merced County, he will buy a huge acreage of cheap farm land between Merced and Chowchilla. This will give him room to build with freeway access and railroad access, and freedom from Mark Hendrickson. Mark Hendrickson wants to demolish 55 buildings at Castle and that will nail the lid on the coffin for Castle. All that will remain is weeds, bare concrete, broken glass, coyotes and gophers. Castle will look like a feed lot and smell worse! Almost every photograph of County Officials has Daron McDaniels standing in the middle. He is easy to spot. He is the one that looks like "Alvin the Chipmunk".

Wowie!! Our politicians brought 4 new jobs to Merced County in 2018!! Now, where are the 10,000 jobs we were promised at the Central California International Trade Center? (Castle) Take a drive through Castle and all you see is bare concrete, broken glass, weeds and coyotes. It is time to re-brand the place again. How about,"The McDaniel and Hendrickson Razor Sharp World Trade and Beer Tasting Center." Good managers would make this place match the McClellan Industrial Park with 18,000 jobs, or Mather Field with 12,000 jobs or Hamilton former AFB with 14,000 jobs. Hendrickson just rented the old Castle AFB gas station to a craft beer tasting business. We need a 711 or similar store there that can supply gasoline and groceries to a growing industrial park. County managers should have leased that building out to a convenience store operator 24 years ago. Hendrickson says we have empty buildings at Castle because he is being selective and not just filling spaces. He could not have done any worse for this building. The County ran off good renters for 24 years and then moved in the worst. Hendrickson does not just fill spaces because he has a master plan for the property, so every business out there is a good match with other businesses out there and all businesses are related to each other . All businesses there are closely related for a harmonious financial masterpiece. The dog pound is related to the crane manufacturer and they are related to Sierra Aviation Pilot School, the Health Clinic, The fixed base operator, the control tower, the Waymo Autonomous Car Testing, and the new beer tasting room. It all has to fit together. You can not have a dog pound and a crane manufacturer without a beer tasting room. We do not have 18,000 jobs like McClellan, but our auto testing fits in with our dog pound! Mark Hendrickson is a genious!

When the USAF turned Castle over to local government in 1995, the assets included a huge refueling system that had been fueling approx 25 B-52 Bombers and approx. 25 KC-135 Tankers plus misc other airplanes. This system included huge fuel storage tanks and at least 6 Semi-Tanker trucks that took fuel from storage to the airplanes. Local government should have contacted fleet operators of cargo airplanes and fire fighting aircraft and made this resource available to them. Castle can refuel big planes quickly, while other airports have too much air traffic and force planes to waste time in holding patterns before take off and landing. Castle has huge hangars full of shop equipment for repairing large airplanes. Local government should have offered to lease or sell this equipment to large air carriers. Castle has ample hangar space, outdoor parking to get big planes out quickly and economically. Most big planes refuel and undergo repair at McClellan and Mather rather than Castle even though Castle would be more efficient and cost effective for them. People at McClellan and Mather were on the ball while people at Castle were lazy and asleep at the switch. Castle gets a few forest fire planes but they should be getting a lot more of them. These planes could get in and out at Castle quicker and get the retardant to the fires quicker while avoiding congested airports, stacking patterns and wasted fuel. I was stationed at Castle 1973-1974. I returned to Merced in 2009 to retire. I drove through Castle and was amazed at the bare concrete, broken glass and weeds where nice solid buildings had been torn down. I walked into the Castle Commerce Center and discovered the problem immediately. I asked about a vacant building and was told,"Oh, well, that building is not available." I could see that the lazy people inside were interested in drinking coffee and visiting and they were running business off as quickly as possible to totally avoid doing any work. The Castle real estate has been managed by worthless goof offs since the base closed. The last thing these lazy people want is renters in the dorms. They do not want to be bothered by rent collecting, repairs or loud stereos, so they invented imaginary asbestos where there wasn't any. This worked like a charm for years until people began to ask questions. Mark Hendrickson responded by inventing fake Federal Law in a original BRAC Agreement that supposedly made it illegal for people to live at Castle. He proved himself to be a liar because he was renting dorm rooms to Student Pilots at Sierra Aviation. Castle makes $3 million a year from lease agreements and they could more than double this by making dorms studio apartments. There are 1800 jobs at Castle (or less) and 18,000 jobs at McClellan, and 12,000 jobs at Mather. Castle is doing 10 percent of what it should be doing. That tells the story.

There were 6000 people at Castle before the base closed. In 1997, Castle was managed by a retired Colonel for The JPA. A private company was building portable classrooms in the old B-52 Hangar and there were 2000 jobs at Castle. Today we only have 1800 jobs at Castle. Compare this to a similar base that closed in the 1990's. McClellan has 18,000 jobs! WE ONLY HAVE 10 percent OF THE JOBS WE SHOULD HAVE and 10 percent of the RENT INCOME we should have and our idiot Supervisors think Mark Hendrickson is doing a great job. CASTLE IS A RUN DOWN DUMP. Half the buildings have been torn down and Hendrickson wants to tear down the remaining buildings. Our supervisors are completely out of touch. McDaniels thinks it is illegal to live out there and there are no people living out there while 40 to 150 student pilots live in 1 dorm. Hendrickson is the landlord and says the place is vacant and full of asbestos. It was built 12 years after the USAF quit putting asbestos in buildings, and Hendrickson keeps inventing imaginary asbestos where there never was any. We need the County Grand Jury in here, and the State Attorney General, and The FBI. The mismanagement at Castle is too insane to be accidental. There must be some money changing hands under the table. We need to get real on asbestos. The Summit Complex was built in 1990 ASBESTOS FREE. It has approx 1200 1 man rooms with individual bathrooms and kitchenettes. It houses between 40 and 150 student pilots attending Sierra Aviation Academy. It was built specifically to replace older buildings that contained asbestos. It replaced a 3 story concrete and concrete block building west of the control tower that was built in the 1950's. and a few remaining world war 2 barracks buildings made of wood. The summit complex was only 5 years old when the base closed and its solid concrete construction makes it durable. It has 5 beautiful wings surrounding a central courtyard. It contains a beautiful dining facility and classrooms that are used by Sierra Aviation for their students. Only 10 percent of its rooms are housing Sierra Student Pilots but the cafeteria and classrooms are fully utilized. Mark Hendrickson has turned off all irrigation water to the entire complex to make it look like an abandoned dump. This complex is in excellent condition except for weeds and some broken glass. It could become studio apartments and would more than double the rent income of Castle Commerce Center. (Castle is not a International trade district and never will be. People who call Castle a International trade district are fruitcakes from mars.) A property management firm should be hired to manage this and all the housing at Castle.

It is not illegal for people to live at Castle. Daron McDaniel quotes a imaginary BRAC Agreement that only exists in his simple mind. People are already living at Castle including 100 Sierra Aviation Student Pilots and 6 renters in the old visiting Officers Quarters beside the Museum's RV Park and these people pay rent to Daron's buddy Mark Hendrickson at the Castle Commerce Center. The County could more than double its income at Castle by renting out the balance of the vacant housing there. 1600 dorm beds in 800 dorm rooms sit empty, when these rooms should be bringing in $400,000 a month!!!! Homes with Hangars subdivisions are popping up all over the United States and they are a gold mine. We could make a ton of money putting new homes with hangars on bare land at Castle. For a real eye opener, go to www.investmerced.com and click property search. You will see Hendrickson's Commerce Department promoting the old PEPSI PLANT for Steve Tinetti Real Estate and not lifting a finger to market the 55 vacant commercial buildings at Castle. Hendrickson's department must be getting commission payments under the table when they help sell private real estate in competition with their own employer. County employees have been doing bait and switch to run off investors at Castle and send them to nearby private real estate for years. I hope the IRS and the FBI looks at the paper trail and figures out how they are laundering the money. Above the first comment, you see "4 Comments", but only 3 comments show up. Grand and glorious days are ahead for Merced County. A new expressway is being built that will take traffic off Hwy 99 South of Merced and return traffic to Hwy 99 North of Merced. This will turn cheap farm land into valuable commercial property and make huge windfall profits for people who bought land before word got out. Owners of existing gas stations, restaurants and motels may see a decline in sales and profits if new businesses pop up on the new route but those new businesses may not pop up because the new route is a 4 lane boulevard through nowhere. Castle Commerce Center is expecting a new 700 acre autonomous vehicle test facility with a 6.5 million dollar state grant. I kinda think this is matching funds and it depends upon a manufacturer or other investor putting up 6.5 million to match the state contribution. Little companies like Ford and GM are expected to flock to Castle because they do not have enough money and engineering skill to build their own product development centers. We could end up with a vacant 700 acre test track beside our empty terminal building.

Daron McDaniel is quoting a imaginary BRAC agreement that was never written and does not exist in the real world. If Daron thinks this agreement exists, he should produce a copy of it and show it to us. His "original BRAC Agreement" was created in his simple minded imagination. The real original BRAC Agreement was a Act of Congress, signed by the President. This agreement led to the closing of approx 1/2 America's Military Bases in the 1990's. The original re-use Authority for Castle was The JPA. 2 cities dropped out of the JPA and Merced County took over as reuse authority. The reuse authority is guided by Memorandums of Understanding from the USAF and ROD's (Records of Decision) from the Assistant Deputy Secretary of the USAF. Nowhere does the Federal Government disallow re-use of dorms or construction of housing at Castle. Most of the dorms at Castle were built in 1990, ten years after the USAF quit putting asbestos in buildings, and idiots like Mark Hendrickson keep inventing imaginary asbestos where there isn't any. Hendrickson says the summit complex is vacant and "loaded with" asbestos when in reality it is loaded with student pilots and totally void of asbestos . The dorms would make excellent studio apartments and at $500 a month, they would more than double the rental income at Castle. The IRS should ask Steve Tinetti if he plans to give Hendrickson a real estate commission when he sells the old Pepsi Plant!!!! Hendrickson and McDaniel do not want to see more housing at Castle where County owned land would compete with nearby Privately Owned Land, Financed by Privately Owned Mortgage Lenders. McDaniels wife Buffy McDaniel is a private Mortgage Lender as Branch Manager of Land Home Financial Services of Merced. Daron McDaniel does not want housing at Castle to compete with nearby housing financed by his wife!! Now Daron is against a local moratorium on foreclosures caused by COVID-19 Virus because it would take power away from mortgage lenders.
