    Used all the heavy duty systems in my day and by far my favorite is efco. Efco uses bolts not those stupid clamps. Hate the clamps.

    No good system. Its Very heavy and requires crane always, and more people to do the job.

    Well duh. All the heavy duty systems require a crane . Gang forms are so much faster than handset forms. The money they save you in labor will pay for the crane rental.

    Cool video but done a bit out of sequence in my opinion. After your fall protection is established the very next thing you should do is install the overhang brackets, 4x8's and railing. That gives you more workable space in a real world project. These guys had the benefit of working on a concrete floor.

  • @gordonkaske8056

    Depends on Waller hanger system. These guys are using borg hangers. If overhang bracket hangers are poured in concrete beam yes you can do as you say. If over the top hangers for Bethany brackets and waler you need to hang interior waler then over hang. Just depends. We like to use false decking for interior beams to work off of safety cable for tie off on exterior beams until overhang is formed then guard rail is installed.

    @Gordon Kaske I get what you are saying. With concrete beams we almost always set our overhangs first. Actually we do with steel beams to but usually our bridges are overpasses and we have the benefit of working below with lifts. I could definitely see your point on mulit span bridges over water. Just seems like all that falsework between beams would get in the way of your pre-stressed panels or SIP forms, but I guess that comes with the territory eah?

    I've always wondered this but why do those I beams have wooden planks in between them during construction? Aren't they heavy enough to stay in place?

  • @jimmymullins8727
    @jimmymullins87273 жыл бұрын

    Its for plywood to laydown on , basically its the bracing for the bottom of you deck forms. It has to be strong for when concrete is poured.
