That wiring shown behiond that vent, if you ever have to change the rear tail light, you MUST be able to get to that wiring.

Very helpful to see the Altaplex perform in an all night rainstorm and actual video of the condensation, yet a dry bathtub.

l think l was 8 or so when my family and l hiked lmp Face. 60 years ago. At the top l found out that my older brother, who hung back, was afraid of heights. l ventured much closer to the edge. l must have been a tireless billy goat back then. When l revisited the Webster Cliff Trail [White Mtns] sometime since 2000 l was shocked at how relentlessly steep the trail was. All's l noticed whenever we went up Webster Cliff was the the clouds were MC Escher dramatic and the cliff-top view was spectacular. Way back when! Nice, nostalgic vid. Thanks!

I have a question that has been bothering me for a long time and I can't find the answer. On the one hand, I keep reading/hearing that the cartridge should not be exposed to high temperatures. On the other hand, the burner (especially the one screwed onto the cartridge) heats up to very high temperatures and is in direct contact with the cartridge. The problem especially concerns small burners from China, such as the BSR3000. I always have concerns and fear in the back of my mind. Please explain.

Mine started to glow red and bend/melt with a pot of water in a Stanley pot. Wasnt even on high. Did buy on Amazon but it seems like the real thing... Was next to water and it may have been windy blowing the flame into the arm. At least thats what I think happened.

i got the Etek city super cheap one from amazon used it a few times no issues yet, though mine only has to last as long as the fuel can as it is part of an emergency bug out bag i hope to never need. i still break it out and use it to maintain the skill of cooking that way a few times a month. primary stove is a multi-fuel stove though it wont boil water fast like these little rocket butane stoves.

Yea and ?!!? I've used my MSR kettle and usually a pocket rocket or a BRS for ever as well, so what's your point? Other then lame content for this channel? This is one of the saddest brag videos I've ever seen on YT. Heck, if you really wanna brag I have pictures of me with my Svea 123 and my old Optimus 8R from the late 70's .......

I moved to within 2 miles of these peaks last year . I hike these 2 as training for the larger Whites to the south. Sometimes twice a week between May and early November. Its the perfect difficulty level for me to get in shape for the more serious ascents. Thanks for the vid !

Why not have a rain "fly",like in larger or even canvas tents?like a "tarp" over it all,if it's going to be bad.

You didn't need to mention the weight of the fuel can. If one doesn't know the weight of a can ahead of time, then they should stay home.
