Just Another Creative Outlet

Just Another Creative Outlet

Welcome to "Just Another Creative Outlet," the podcast where I explore the challenges of navigating through life while also trying to find a creative outlet. I know firsthand the difficulties of feeling stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts.

But through my journey, I've discovered that finding a creative outlet can be a powerful tool for self-expression. But it's not all serious - we'll also have some fun along the way. Expect relatable stories, awkward moments, and a few laughs as we navigate this journey together.

The cardboard beds are the biggest contribution to sustainability? Dude, you need to read more about this, rather than spreading disinformation that has already been debunked multiple times.

Those beds are ecofriendly, not anti sex. If there was any anti sex plan behind that thé French wouldn't provide more condoms than most olympics in the last decades to the athletes. Who in their right minds would think the French are prudes ?? Come on

Everyone say this is the reason but it’s France not exactly prudes. It’s probably exactly what they said an eco friendly move. Paris was the site of the largest and most significant international climate agreement ever and France probably wants to live up to that reputation for a massive international event like the Olympics.

I mean, I've always said this, but I'll reiterate it here. I have always thought it was stupid. The amount of carbon emissions sports like F1 bring along with them, because they have to ship these multimillion-dollar container homes alongside of all of there race car drivers Y, they're held at the same tracks almost every f****** year you're telling me you couldn't put them in some sort of housing. Block. But no😊

At this point why dont they just use local hotels, like why is the olympics so opposed to injecting money into the local economy.

  • @collinivey1995

Because if you actually know the economics of Olympics, it is really expensive and has caused city bids to drop dramatically. So finding cheap eco friendly options are created to make the games more profitable.

The problem isn’t that the world is worse than it has ever been. It is actually far safer than it’s ever been. The issue is that children and young people Don’t have the struggles of past generations, and therefore, as they become adults and learn that the real world is harsh, they aren’t able to cope

Anxiety rates might be higher, yeah. Everything said makes sense, but it could also have something to do with how people used to cope with anxiety. Think about how many alcoholics there used to be, all the abusive spouses/parents, all of the outward bigotry. People used to just get sloshed and then take out their fears and anxiety on others. And none of these people went to the doctor and got diagnosed with some sort of anxiety disorder. This still happens of course, but I feel like you saw a lot more of this stuff 50ish years ago and back

Maybe I’m totally blind but I feel like we’ve not been massive c**** for the last 8 years or so (since Southgate took over), I think he’s a likeable guy and it’s washed on the players and yet Europe hate us 🤣🤣 ah I guess we’ve got to suck up the banter!

  • @Knullebibs

It sounds like you already addressed the cause, most of us were raised in very safe environments and an easy life, in contrast to that there's a lot of fear mongering on climate change and other political issues like you said. I'd like to add that the expectations put on us are very high, you're competing against instagram models in the dating world and getting a job or a house is very difficult. As for the solution I think meditation is great for anxiety and will help you a lot but I would recommend you to implement some risk taking in your life as well, for some this means giving a talk to a huge crowd but for others this means just leaving the house and being in public. It doesn't matter where you start, after a while being in public won't scare you anymore and you might work up the courage to talk to a stranger, when this becomes normal you might work up the courage to ask a girl out at a bar, and so on. The more risks you take the more trivial your previous risks seem.

Sprinkle in some sort of easy errand/workout before lunch - like garden work, quick Home Depot trip, dog walk. Really makes you feel you earned your lunch and can be a homebody rest of day guilt-free. Couldn’t agree more with focusing on a solid lunch/dinner and just grocery shopping for the dinner that night 👍

You remind me of my nephew. He got a job at NASA right out of college and bought a home when he was in his early 20s… but he yells at his 3 year old like she’s a grown man… but not really because he wouldn’t yell at a grown man that way. Only a 3 year old he has control over.

This kind of thing is and hasc been a very common practice throughout manufacturing of various good and not just food. All the big brands sell the same crap with a different label. Old Dutch, Campbell's, cracker barrel.. why wouldn't they? A sale is a sale to them.
