"Cancel culture" is not about silencing a person it's about withdrawing support. So if I buy from a company and find out they financially support polical csuse that hurts me or I don't agree with than it's not weak of me to stop buying their goods. Also if a public person says things that i disagree with or don't like for any reason, it is not weak of me to stop supporting them by not following their social media, not paying to see their movies, buy their books or buy their music. I don't have to support anyone financially or other wise and my past support does not obligate me to continue in the future.

I get very streaky with the luck. Sometimes I have to struggle with extremely marginal stuff and then we get games like this where it's just handed to me.

Just started playing this game a week back, but I still haven't won a game, feels like I always play too agressive or too defensive.
It takes a bit to get the hang of it but like everything practice makes perfect

I feel like assassin games should always be fixed. Prog is way too unbalanced in the first round and it would add some dynamics with people being able to turn in on 3 or 4 possibly.
With fixed there might be a risk of killguards slowly becoming permanent
@@TheKillPeteStrategy that's true, but among top players that should also drive the action and cause people to hit stacks earlier in a way that doesn't initiate a kill but checks people's growth. That's one thing I've observed during tournaments I've watched and is likely due to the point system awarding points for kills, but games that stalemate are often due to players being unwilling to wipe out stacks that would lead to the player whose stack you took getting eaten by a different player. I can think of one example in a game long ago where a player (not you) could have hit a big stack that was isolated behind them and it would have fed two players to another opponent but that guy would not have been able to win or even touch the player who took out the stack, which would have allowed that player to then win the game. I think people's game would be improved if they looked for those kind of scenarios. Obviously not in assassin's, lol.... But in regular dom games. There is also the meta of points and an additional meta of not pissing off people you will face later or in other tournaments to consider, though, so it's not always about what is best tactically in the moment, I suppose. And feeding your opponent to someone in order to win the game is bound to piss off the person who got fed.

Hey Pete, kind of a long comment but bear (bare?) with me. I have only been watching your videos for a short period of time but I very much enjoy them. I haven't ever played Risk before but i find myself drawn to your ability to keep me engaged with not only your strategic ability but your intelligent commentary. I find myself agreeing with you on a lot of things and, even when i disagree, I find myself wanting to have a conversation with you. I'm not sure as to how things work within the "KZreadr/fan" dynamic as i never comment, but I would love to chat with you at some point. Would you be down?

Purple: 0 seconds as a player White: 90 seconds Red: 4 minutes. Just wow, aince you have to wait ten minutes after you wont even be able to do anything until fifteen minutes into a game. Frustrating mechanic. Yes but how many turns?
Hey Pete, I think it makes sense to slider to avoid bad luck completely ruining you, if you've lost 5 on a 1 you might not want to throw more troops at it. It's capping your losses and being able to pass and chill if your dice are shit.
I'm not exactly sure how it works but I think you also don't want the tail end where you're rolling 2v2 or 1v2
Just gonna say TR caps are similarly broken, ive seen positive rolls on 18+ caps.

Knowing that you live in Canada makes sense if your world view, confusion even about what is real and what is truth, is something you are struggling with. It's definitely not all of us that are standing on foundations made of sand, mentally. It doesn't make me right, per se, but i absolutely live with full confidence that the base truths i believe in are correct.

@@TheKillPeteStrategy what does that mean tho it doesnt work properly? i know ive seen you smahs through lines of ones when going for kills, but happens if you do like a 60 vs 10? is theier a chance that you could lose all 59 units? so only slide till the 100% mark where only that many troops might be lost ??

Is there merit to prioritizing the bot in situations like 12:00? I would be inclined to hit Purple's territories first as the bot has very few remaining territories and I don't want it stacking troops in bonuses I wish to take.
Man these "negotiation games" are the worst. You just wait until they are done do stupid stuff. How it is interesting to you?
They are the most fun settings I've come up with because they leverage the diplomatic skill in risk more than anything else I have found and that's a lot of where the true skill in the game shines imo
