    My 10 granddaughter is getting ready to have braces because of missing Lateral incisors, I think it will be 2 years of misery for her, my son her dad also had missing lateral incisors, he had braces for a number of other reasons and only one of his incisors came out he has a false tooth in that space . I'm scared for what my granddaughter is going to go through...

    @@jenGeeJushawshee which route did you go? Did you close the gaps with the canines or you got implants? - my daughter is missing both lateral incisors and the 2 bottom front teeth.

  • @jenGeeJushawshee
    @jenGeeJushawshee4 жыл бұрын

    Monica Zukeran Oh, poor thing...definitely go the implant route! Dentistry has come so far (and will continue to advance) not to go with implants. Canine substitution 99% never looks cosmetically good. The canines are just to thick and boxy to make the delicate square shape needed for a lateral incisor.

    I've had braces but I still have a weak chin, what do I do?

  • @camillev.o.4627
    @camillev.o.46276 жыл бұрын

    Arab pride Thanks for your help. I had braces when I was very young, I had all different sorts of braces. I don't know which ones exactly. I didn't realise I had a weak chin at that age, I wasn't really looking at it. I also started at a bad orthodontist. She gave me braces and made my teeth go in the wrong place so I had to change to another orthodontist. The result now is that my teeth aren't "academically correct". I have a small gap between my front teeth and the place of my teeth on the right side isn't completely correct. That causes some pressure on my teeth because my upper and lower teeth don't really "fit" on to each other. But I'll adress all of this to my new orthodontist the next time I go.

    Dear DR. Keller, It's great to know you are using the latest of technology and this video sure looks good; however, if one has disfunction PRP, then what can you do (just like my case)? Should the person has her hematology oncology inject some PRP in her blood before meeting with you for this implantation? for someone who has thin blood what should one do to prepare for this procedure? Your quick respond is greatly appreciated and Thank you very much.

    my mom needs her smile back. she had an accident and lost 3 front teeth from an uninsured motorist. sadly she is permanently disabled with Ms and serve cervical stenosis, at the age of 36 she doesn't smile beings her teeth are so rough, as she says some of us aren't meant to smile. I disagree, I wish I had the means to help my mom, maybe one day. We live not to far from Redmond.

    It hard to tell without seeing you in person. It depends on how severe you overbite. But you can absolutely get veneer that help with an overbite. What I do recommend is going to a neuromuscular dentist near you, we have the technology to help you with an underbite without any oral surgery.

    I have covers like those that just snap on and same procedure to have them fitted. I got mine years ago when they were new and they ended up costing around 2 thousand bucks. When I put them on they are extremely bulky and I talk with a lisp. They claim you can eat with them...not without almost choking. They also claim the lisp will go away as you get used to them. Mine never did. Now let me say that they have improved and look more natural and are much thinner. They do not add the bulk that the old ones did. I have no clue how much these are, but I'm guessing they are less expensive also. As I said i got mine about 6 years ago. I hope they come up with something even more affordable for those who just want a nice smile and have very little money. Living life unhappy with your smile affects you in so many ways. The picture of me here is the one picture i have with me smiling. My teeth are white but I have one tooth in front that overlaps a little. Thats a big deal these days because people expect Hollywood teeth. Im of the generation where only rich kids got braces. So, not many options for those like me.

    I've considered getting veneers for years. I've ground my teeth so much over time that they look like baby teeth now. However, I heard with veneers they have to grind your teeth down in order to put them on, and I don't know if I would be able to handle that, as my teeth are extremely sensitive now. Would veneers still be considered a viable option for me, or would I need to consider something else?

  • @luzmech
    @luzmech7 жыл бұрын

    It's about looks and I completly understand it, think about it; you use your mouth to drink, eat AND communicate and your teeth are visible during all of these, not only that but getting rid off all the problems all together can be more expensive than actually getting veneers. I have straight healthy teeth but quite large gums and sometimes I'm insecure when posing for photos, I couldn't imagine what people with more dental problems must go through.
