  I can confirm the problems with the masking:-/, another problem is the deeper laying iron, you don't know if it's iron or non ferrous, the audio is all over the place:-/

  I read in the manual that if the target is too shallow then the adjusted volume level wont apply, it will signal at high volume.

  Hi Laim, been using the Legend for nearly a year. Started out with 2 friends who had a Nox and a Simplex and your content got me interested in the Legend and convinced me to buy one ... and I researched everywhere of relevance to confirm this as my first detector. I watch all your content regardless of topic, keep doing what your doing!

  Very good test. It’s a shame you don’t have the older Rutus Versa 23DD to test against the new 24DD coil as well, since I’d be interested in which coil is the most sensitive to smaller items. Also, have you given Rutus any feedback about lowering the iron volume tone when using -29 (no disc) as the din will surely deafen someone in no time at all! Plus, do you think having a manual ground balance feature would be useful on the Rutus Versa? I look forward to seeing your further tests on the Versa.

  I’m sick and tired of all of the ass clowns who are now given creditable from detector companies to push there products. 99% of them are not seasoned hunters they can talk bullshit all day long but most do not have finds toback it up!!! There is a man from upstate ny has a channel he is true gentlemen only 10 years under his But has made incredible finds. He is genuine honest not about the dollar value of items but history people behind lost items. I can’t stand jackass who just want to tell me all about there most valuable coin how super duper they are how valuable it is🤔 I’ve made finds to back up my talk a couple of my finds were posted on magazines one was for the best finds for the year In 2001. To many yakkers and annoying fucktards on KZread pushing new high tech it’s not needed to find stuff

  I must be doing something wrong. Ive had the simplex ultra for about 3 weeks now and Ive tried park, 4 tone, and 99 tone modes and it struggles to pick up a dime at 5 inches ( faint sound with no target I.D. kind of struggle). With sensitivity set to 30. Im not condemning the simplex yet but i could use some advice. Should I try to change the "Target ID Depth"? Any advice would be appreciated.

  I would think that either the ground is highly mineralised or some iron masking the dime, I would firstly see distance from coil in air , just to see if the machine and coil are working correctly, you should get at least 9-10 inch on a dime in air

  @@HistoryRevisiteduk Ok, do you mean a bench test? If so I'll do that. Also might be worth mentioning that the ground where i live has red dirt. Maybe the high iron mineralization of the dirt is masking the targets.

  Just got mine this week and its my first detector ever, i wanted to use it under water today but i couldn't manage to find anything as the beeping was really hard to hear under water and the vibration is barely noticeable tbh! Is there any way to make it stronger or smth? Also which mode is used best underwater ?

  J ai un Nokta triple score acheté cette été aux Us et un XP Deus 2 en pack pour un XP 2 a +1500 euros franchement beaucoup trop cher que j ai revendu cette semaine sans aucun regret et avec avec du mal j ai perdu de l argent, tellement déçu des performances et je suis pas le seul on s attend a un niveaux supérieur pour se prix et non ,le triple score et plus précis et intuitif sur tout les terrains que j ai prospecté, complètement étanche pas comme le Deus trop fragile, sur tous mes essais 100 % satisfait et une bête sur plage même dans l'eau, ,garantie 3 ans. livre avec 2 disques 30x23cm et 24x15cm un casque sans fil un très bon pack a moins de 500 Balles, ultra complet que je recommande aux débutants et aux très confirmées , numéro un des vente aux Usa en Californie et en Europe sa arrive en force ,très prometteur avec ses mises a jours régulières un fabricant sérieux et reconnue, comparé a un XP Deus 2 n hésitez pas, ultra léger et confortable sur tout terrains c est le top a se prix !! @+

  Like doing a wheel alignment on a car... You can get it straight in the test garage ... But of course wind, camber etc influence the actual road drive... As does added wind resistance like roof box. But the the pure alignment test is a basic measurable measure. Your test garden and air tests are both super valid as bench mark if done contemporaneously ... You do a fantastic job Liam... But some people are as thick as mince

  Got the rutus yesterday upgraded to 4.7 last night took for swing last night, going out now. Loving it so far with the features other machine don't display like the emi scale screen. I didn't realize how bad it was.

  The emi screen is great , I walk around an emi field , watching the display to see how it responds , great idea a lot more frequency options than other detectors twice the price
