Can you lubricate the launch guide so the rocket slides off of it better when it launches?
@hobcen19 күн бұрын
Baby powder is a wonderful dry lubricant for parachutes, nosecones and anything that needs to glide smoothly. Try some of that. If your rocket is still having issues, consider installing bigger launch lugs. They can be made by plastic drinking straws, plastuct and other brands of plastic tubing.

Hey Bill, Interesting RC kits, that hobby has advanced so much technology wise, I bet they fly or drive right out of the store. They would certainly make great early Christmas buys for Christmas. Your team should try the drones and use them occasionally to show the shop or cover those great parking lot sales. You know I'm always watching , I'll be sure to check them out. Good luck and Cheers, Bob

I have heard in more than a few places that 'Deluxe' isn't actually *meant* to be used as an adhesive (despite it saying as much on the bottle), but more as a (small) gap filler. My own experience seems to back this up, as (not knowing that) I've used it on a lot of custom additions to Gunpla kits, and even months later the added parts (also polystyrene, same as the kits. not the ABS plastic they use for some parts) just fall right off with barely any force. S, while having an almost non-existant working time, actually holds... in most cases. SPB would be neat to use, as I don't do many straight builds. But nobody around here carries it.

@@hobcen Hey Bill, I think they look good, camera technology has changed since I was in the game.Depth of focus (DOF} and " f " stop = lighting through the lens. So could i make my own levelling thinner if i just mixed regular thinner with retarder? If so what would the ratio be?

Great question! I know when you add retarder to paint, you should not exceed 10 per cent. If you're thinning your paints say at 50, one might try 5 per cent as a first test? Perhaps one of our viewers can weigh in.

I don't know of anything like that. If you have access to an airbrush, Alclad makes some of their clear coats in oil base, one I really like is called Clear Cote Light Sheen which is a matte but with just the hint of sheen, way less than a semi gloss.
