  It's so reassuring to know that someone else thinks the way I do about reading! Like actually taking time to work out a system of note taking and highlighting with tabs, setting out an almost ritualistic routine, making sure as much friction as possible is removed between reading and digesting the material. You even take off the dust cover, and buy various forms of the same book like I do! Though I'm jealous of your organized reading space. In my current living condition, I don't even really have enough room to sit at a desk, or store away the dust cover somewhere I'm sure it won't get creased or deformed.

  You should defo read Mary E. Pearsons other trilogy the Remnant Chronicles!! It’s set a bit before the Dance of Thieves duology and it’s also amazing!! Her world building is just so good and I actually loved it so much and now I want to reread the dance of thieves duology lol😭

  i remember finishing g.o.t. 1 - 4 in a fortnight. i was so happy.....until my dad dropped the 5th book into my lap. i almost cried........but i will try the trilogy....just 3 more books to the 'guess i'll read this book later' mountain
