Huge fan of Jeremy! Great conversation gents.
Jose, great video as always! One problem with your audio is that most of the times I can only hear it in my left ear, and it's also a lot low, while jeremy audio is high and clear. Idk if it has something to do with your mic
yes, this was one of the episodes were i still did not fix that problem. i recorded this a while back so some of the "bad audio" episodes are still trickling in. my apologies
awesome!
Super informative! thank you for sharing :D
Thank you! Great work :)
Thanks man. So much
This can all be done in Blender

im sorry... i dont know why :( it sounds fine on my end.... i will look into it thou
for some reason it's really low in opera gx but a bit higher in mozila, really strange
@@teodorstefanov5103 woah.. thats even more weird... hmmm
Sounds good to me on iPhone

hmmmm thats very weird.... i have it set up at pretty high volume :( thanks.. i will look into it
the colors and harmonies are just pure love bro.
Your tutorial made it much easier to implement a new workflow. And here I thought it would be hard. Thankfully I won't bother with Blender's annoying shading node system.
thank you
amen
Thank you! ♥
economic downturn in consumer spending and market saturation in concept artists. really how many concept artists are needed for the current amount of projects vs the amt of people wanting that role. everything works on supply and demand in an econ. sure compete if your total goal is 110p im gonna get the role but if you even a little wishy washy maybe think of an area in production where supply and demand is more realistic. i think were entering a time when jobs are going away and people will have to create something out of nothing and become more than some service provider or band with others to create more value than one person can alone. just some thoughts. best wishes to all in this difficult time.
This is an awesome video! A great view on hiring practices especially for new industry (or soon to be) artists
I love 200mm too. They compress the peripheral vision and adds the cinematic telephoto effect. Making the shots look "Hollywood" and expensive.
This is so well articulated 👌
Painfully true
All the time chrasing this program for quixel mixer
thanks a lot !
Sweet. Keep it up, man!
OMG thank you so much. Your lesson is incredible!

Perhaps you can advise me. I have a character that has a sword in his hand. I want to attach an empty to the tip of the sword so I can give the sword tip a motion trail. This is simple in Maya, Motion Builder and even in Unreal engine. When I use the child constraint, I can select the empty and the eye dropper will select the sword but the empty does not attach at all to the sword when I play the animation. Parent the object(empty) to a vertex. I select the empty and shift select the sword and when I go into edit mode the sword snaps to a different area of the scene. I am not able to move the empty to where the sword is when in edit mode. Any thoughts would be helpful.
Hey I was wondering what add-on you have for your sun light set up - I have physical starlight atmosphere but the only sun settings I have are rotation, diameter, temperature and intensity - it's also called "starlight sun" with controls only in the add-on tab, whereas yours is "sun" and the controls say "physical light" under the lighting tab and has the light unity, irradiance etc.
hmm thats weird... maybe is not the same addon? cant really tell without looking at it
how to make decals/stickers ?
You can export all the render passes separately in the compositing nodes now. You just need a file output.
Wow... I've been freelancing for the last year but not really sure about my future and this episode really hit home for me. Thank you so much for this! Very cathartic to know I'm not the only one who has struggles lol
It seems like the UV's get really messed up when trying to export the tree trunk after applying the mesh.
Well done, my friend! Thank you so much. This is the most straightforward tutorial I have ever seen on Mixer!
Man, what great insights! I love the concept of this podcast, and the execution is superb.
Is there a way to create the empty at the center of all currently selected objects?
yes... select everything you want.... move cursor to selected and then create the empty
@@ArtofJoseVega hey! thanks for the prompt reply Right! makes sense, the more I use Blender the more things like that become obvious I realize.
