I believe that far and away the majority of human beings are good. I believe that all around us are little acts of sweetness and decency that go unnoticed. Uncelebrated.

The problem is that the news, by its very nature, gives a disproportionate depiction of who we really are.

These stories, we call them Eric's Heroes, aim to even that out.
