Tracy thanks for the videos, just received my order for ya'll, I have a question about heat treat gases, i have heard argon/carbon dioxide ?? Can it be done with carbon dioxide only?? I cant find any info on this question.... Thanks
Thank you for that succinct and educational video. Very helpful! I'm new to drill press/metal craft and i knew something like this existed. Thanks again!
Please make more DogBite 3.1s or affordable balisongs. Compete with BRS Barebones!
Do you make scales for production knives or just sell the materials?
When is the next workshop??
I received this sharpener about a month ago and I have to tell you it is fantastic. I have read a lot of reviews that badmouthed this item and I have to tell you that the people that wrote those bad reviews either work for other companies or they are just plain ignorant on how to use a pull through sharpener. I have been using this sharpener and putting just short of a razor sharp mirrors edge on all of my folders and find that if you know what you are doing by not putting pressure and or pressing your blades as you pull them through that you will receive a fantastic edge 100% percent of the time.
I been wondering what shimmering effects Kirnite has. Looks like it can be polished to a glass finish while maintaining a deep rich color.
I just ordered one of these kits. Look forward to putting it together. I would prefer the black scales with the black wash other than satin though. Thanks for offering these.
Looks like a fun project just wish it was available in tip up carry.
Do you have any experience, first-hand or second-hand, with setting stone scales? Any tips, or "do's and don'ts" you can share? Great video by the way. Very informative
Thanks I was kind of thinking this is what I needed to do. I just wanted reassuring before I did it!
What are your bearings dimensions? I blew a bearing on my 1" rubber contact wheel and want to buy extra's.
How can I get the arbor press bender used in the video ?
How to remove mightybond to a leather shoes? Please help thanks
Cool product. You should make a Thumb stud with Wave feature for quick deployment like Emerson knives have. That would be cool.
I'm looking for the method to polish a stack leather washer handle..
exactly what I need Tracey. thank you!!
The easiest way is to pull it back when it is still a block, to the point at where the scale starts and then a little further. As you cut and sand a small tab will be left to pull off when finished.
Do you have any smaller patterns?
got any for the kershaw skyline?
I like to use the "micro-somethin' voodoo," personally.
can you put a paracord handle on one of these knives?
Thank you for these videos! I am interested in leather working for my senior art show and found your videos. They will help me tremendously in this learning process.

My 110 has a damascus blade, will these scratch the finish?
Hi there. I recently purchased a 1x30 belt sander and reprofiled the edge on an sk5 knife (cold steel chaos double edge). I knew about the possiblity of ruining the temper so I took care to quench in water every stroke but developed a blackish brown burn mark on the tip.... which means the temper is probably messed up there right? how bad is this really? I stabbed some hard wood and the tip doesn't bend or break and is still sharp... i even noticed some of the burn mark has gone away by stabbing it in the wood. Does this mean that the tip is softer than before or more harder/brittle than before?
Would this be a good home tool for Cutting off the over spill on a re-soled shoe? Edging /trimming the extra material of the new sole?
Awesome video very informative! What is that metal block with the holes called? Makes it easier to drive pins and other tasks. I need one.
123 block
Can you use both sides of the belt? rough vs smooth? or dedicate a belt for rough and one for smooth?
+1
