Onlything that comes to mind is for gaming, but I think I'm over that phase now. Another nice thing is that apple fanboys still pay decent price for used macbooks, so when I inevitably upgrade it will still have some value (and use it for the next upgrade). overall I'm much more satisfied using a mbpro than any windows laptop, even a desktop

Hard pass. If you work in finance or non-software engineering, it is overrated. At a drastically lower price, you can get good build quality laptops (Lenovo ThinkPad T14 or Dell Latitude 7000s) with great port selection. For careers in engineering that use CAD software, most only work on Windows laptops (Dell XPS 16/17 or Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i). Other advantage: Updating your SSD, software that only works on Windows, playing games on Windows, keyboard shortcuts, and Windows snap viewership arrangement.
@JohnnyChiuchiolo2 ай бұрын
Can't deny any of that indeed, I worked in a big company and they all used lenovo or dell, especially for CAD users, but if you are in the design world most of people use macs, because you find yourself (at least for me) working on the go on battery, so you have both the advantage of better battery life but also 100% performance on battery, and trust me it's not a small detail lol
