    Didnt know where to write but I have a question. I just came across the rdn 3 path tracing optimisation mod and found a vid where it makes cyberpunk pt absolutely playable on a 7800 xt. Only on full hd but still. Was wondering if you are planning to test it out on an xtx?:) kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqxh2aePcaewiJs.htmlsi=QaUs-seULx3NteDy

    This was a fun one! You demonstrate exactly why I have major issues with AMD's APU's. Yes I know that the 8400f isn't an APU; but it is made just like an APU without the inclusion of onboard GPU and stinks! Everybody keeps saying how great Strix Point and Strix Halo are going to be but I doubt it. AMD makes great desktop CPU's but their APU's are just not there yet. Hawk Point was supposed to be a good step up over the 6000 and 7000 APU's, but clearly it isn't! Again, thank you.

    I'd like to understand one thing since I'm considering buying this gpu and I don't have a great knowledge about this whole thing. I sorta came to understand that overclocking and at the same time undervolting is supposed to deliver more performance and consume less power but for example at 21:12 it seems the OC and undervolt version consumes 50W more than stock. Am I missing something here?

    I really do apologise for my negative attitude (you can blame KZread for recommending me this lol) While it would be nice to have more performance and FPS in games, I just think is ludicrous to sacrifice security on your device for just a bit more FPS. How do you care so much about how much FPS you get, that you’d rather get rid of security… because you just don’t care about it???

    I don't know if I can consider a GPU better if it is consuming almost twice as much energy, the cost matters but in the long run I will end up paying more for that extra consumption.

    If you can afford 7900xtx why would you buy any of the cpus in that chart? I know why 7900xtx is used here and in any cpu battle but it will be highly unlikely to pair it with any of those cpus. I have 5600 + 6600 rx running 1.5 years and it satisfy all my needs. But if I wanted a new system right now which can do 2k maybe even 4k with some adjustments and have the money to spend for 7900xtx would pair it with 7800x3d. For the right price those cpu here could be great depending what you want. No hard feelings and respect to all the work done here!

    Very interesting results! As you explained in the beginning, 1x16GB DIMM is typically single rank in DDR5, quite surprised that it has a measurable performance penalty. When 1x64GB or 2x32GB becomes mainstream in the distant future then the picture might look different.

    5700X3D equals stock 7600x for gaming. This tells me that the 5700X3D will last as long as the 7600x for gaming. So probably 3 to 5 years before it becomes any real bottleneck. Depending on what GPUs will be out in the future. 5700X3D is some serious bang for buck.

    Just ordered a 7500F two days ago. Wanted to wait another year at least for AM5 prices to drop, but my PC died this week, so the 7500F is definitely the best deal at the moment. More than enough to drive my 2080ti and should give me decent cpu headroom to upgrade in the future to something like a 7900GRE.

    If AMD had launched the 8400F at $99 it would have been a compelling option when paired with a low end a620 motherboard. Since the 8400F gains nothing from OC, you don’t need a motherboard good enough for OC. But perhaps at this point, AMD is more concerned with selling their existing AM4 stock and doesn’t want AM5 competing at the entry level yet. So they’re just releasing entry level products at mid range prices. AMD always seems to do this, even with GPUs. Once the AM4 stock dries up, the price of the 8400F will drop like a rock. Its the new Ryzen 4500.

    If you're going AM5, and going for a budget CPU, I feel like saving for the 7600X is your best bet. It's $197 (US) currently, and you still have the vertical trajectory of at least the 7800X3D currently (which is down to $339). On AM4, the 5700X3D is $199.

  • @AncientGameplays
    @AncientGameplays15 сағат бұрын

    nah, for $130 the 7500F is the way to go, gets VERY close to the 7600X once overclocked: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k3ui1MtyqaWbmbQ.html

  • @HurricaneSparky
    @HurricaneSparky12 сағат бұрын

    @@AncientGameplays I suppose this depends on the consumer, and whether they're running a setup that can handle overclocking. I'll keep an eye on this for a friend that wants to upgrade to AM5, but needs it on as small a budget as reasonable.
