  On our NCL last October, the package we had included wi-fi, 2 specialty dinner nights, excursion credit (which just about paid for it) plus cocktails and bottles of wine from the upper left of the wine list. It also included "bottlled" water. They were more like cartons. But one can always get water from the buffet. Just remember to fill a glass first then your bottle.

  Some people want a 5 star experience at a 1 star price so complain about paying for anything not included in the cruise fare. If I had to pay extra just to have a basic balanced meal, that would be nickel & diming.

  Cruise lines are suck these days. You pay &pay&pay AND but still must check your bill to make sure they haven’t over charged you. You wanna stretch your $$$ but its impossible when cruising. Meanwhile the food is horrible & ships are overcrowded or the pool id big enough for 10 peeps. How can u enjoy yourself?

  I did not work for me either. Bid $315 for a suite which was just slightly higher than the lowest price. This on a 12 day cruise.

  It does not work, I up graded from a balcony room for $900. And got another balcony room, maybe a foot wider, we were cheated and will never cruise RC again.

  That's disappointing to hear. I agree that offering upgrades from a standard balance to a larger balcony for that amount is not a good idea..

  I tried it, too. Not successful. Bid for an oceanview instead of inside 150 per person was not enough. Well, we had a great cruise and Transatlantic Crossing anyway.

  You are correct. It's called the Premium drink pkg and yes it does not include cartons of water. So sad of NCL to not realize the appearance of water being an extra charge. A person who plays in the casino can get cartons of water and energy drinks and free drinks, but you have to be playing somewhat. Correction: the casino as of 01Apr24 no longer provides free drinks, even water or energy drinks while playing.

  I'm so confused, The cruise I'm looking at: Just Cruise Price = €669 , If I add the Free At Sea it's €868. Will I have to still pay 20% extra on top of that €868 price?

  The 699 probably does not include the add-on gratuities for the beverage package or a specialty dining package. The 868 must include the gratuities for the beverage and dining package. NCL break those out separate just as they do for standard prepaid gratuities and cruise care insurance. Hope that helps.

  The booking agents don't break it down. I even told one, why don't I see the original fare on one line then how much it is reduced for my 10% off for a veteran appreciation discount so I am able to follow and see each item and know the cost and discounts are right there. Even the confirmation email shows the codes for discounts, but don't show amounts.

  Just off Getaway. We were disappointed in the Premium Plus package, but we upgraded to include Bailey's and Chambord, etc, which on any other rational cruise line, would be included in a regular package. Additionally, you need to be assertive with waiters at restaurants who are happy to pour you tap. You'd have to ask for a bottle of Aqua Panna. Sorry, but you literally scan your card to eat anywhere, and that info is encoded (how many meals you have, what beverage package if any, etc). Moreover, you are entitled to bottles of wine while dining. In our experience, we had to ask for the bottle, or we were just getting glasses. There was one amazing waitress who recognized us from a cruise we did 4 years ago and knew we were in the Haven and had the P+ beverage package. She was the only one proactive about getting us Aqua Panna, offering a bottle of wine, and knowing who our butler was to come pick up our dessert for later. She was in Ocean Blue. Other restaurants (beyond the Haven) were terrible in this regard.

  kids sail free age 12 at the time of booking or sail date? I am plannning 06/2024 cruise. Right now, my son is 12 years old. By the time he goes on the cruise will be 13 years old. If I book it before he is 13, does the kids sail free applies?

  Nice video Danny. My sister in-law has the RCCL travel protection on a cruise in June however, she'd like to cancel it and I know she'd recieve a 90% refund IN FCC. Is it possible for her to transfer it to me? Thanks

  I believe insurance credit's must be issued to the original traveler, however you could always request an exception from the cruise line if your sister-in-law is not able to travel for the time frame the insurance vouchers are valid. Never hurts to ask Royal Caribbean. Good luck!

  For the kids free promotion you need 2 adults and then the first and or second kid is free with the exception of applicable taxes(under the age of 12). Of course the is valid for select cruises, but I've seen a lot that has this offer. Hope this helps! Cheers

  I recommend insurance from either the cruise line or third party and I recommend you purchase it at time of deposit. It's up to the traveler/insured to read the description of coverage.

  Yes, Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the seas will have eight night cruises in 2023 from Port Canaveral to Bermuda. Dates are August 18th, September 1st, 15, 21, 29, and October 13th of 2023. Cheers
