Look to Jesus. He is Lord. He is Victor. For freedom Christ has set you free....not for a new yoke of bondage to man-made traditions and laws which by their doing cannot save you. The only cross that saves is the Cross of Jesus. His death and resurrection.

Our dear priests, Father Labrie and Father Alex, thank you so much for these beautiful Advent reflections! This fourth week was a very moving and spiritually blessed teaching! I learned so much from this inspiring interpretation of this painting. Father Labrie, you have a gift of reading and understanding art. I am learning to look at religious art in a different light now. Even though Advent and Christmas are joyful times, knowing these reflections are done, gives me a little sadness. It’s ok, because when I see those paintings again, I will be able to reflect on them with a new and better understanding. Thank you again and Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Father and Deacon. What a wonderful homily! Brings back memories of picking potatoes. Picking in the cold wet ground, having to bring extra pairs of gloves because the pair we started with would become so wet and heavy from the soil and not to mention we could hardly feel our fingers! We worked hard but the reward was great just like the kingdom of God!
