You can add a few more pairs of guppies to breed them in that tank, when the guppies breed, the baby guppies will fill the gaps in the tank

For betta you should choose the half moon tail type, for pleco you should choose the small sized type

You should use salt for fish tanks combined with using a heater for the fish tank, fish tank salt and a temperature of about 29 degrees will cure white spot disease.

My red half moon betta fish and my two guppies get along just fine.
That's true from what we tested, half moon tail bettas are very sociable compared to other bettas

Hey I have a question. My guppy fry do not immediately go up to the top and eat when I put crushed up flake food in the tank. Is this normal?
They are feeling uncomfortable and it could also be a sign of disease in guppies, check the water quality of your aquarium first.
@@GuppyChannel yea I just did a water change and they are eating like normal fish now. Is there a better way I can crush up the flakes for them instead of using my fingers?

You should change to another nutritious food for your baby guppies.
Not enough footage of fry. Would be much more helpful to show a variety of fry being identified. Ideally in a range of colours.

The guppy in the picture is a non-purebred guppy so they will not have a specific breed name.

I’m off on the ph parameter. Maybe that’s for like wild caught fish. Using common sense is a MUST, but STABILITY is KEY. Your fish will acclimate to YOUR water.
we agree with your opinion, however for beginners they will use the wrong type of water, some types of water actually kill guppies in minutes

if it is a tetra company food then we think it is fine, but the growth rate of baby guppies depends on many other factors, please see our baby guppies care videos

Maybe you didn't watch our video carefully, garlic and spirulina need to be supplemented periodically but if you feed your fish too much garlic it is not good for your guppies

If someone tells you to use pimafix or melafix run far away lol those medications are not known to really treat anything.
those medicines will not work if you do not have knowledge about guppies, we have seen quite a few cases where they are used in the wrong way
Just to say changing water isn’t the only way to ensure good water quality you can also have live plants
If you have live plants you need time to stabilize the tank, for beginners that is too difficult compared to changing the water
This is just my personal experience, but I believe they can peck floating plants to death… I can’t get duckweed OR red root floaters to thrive because of this, and I’ve observed it’s because the guppies keep pecking at the roots and pushing them around the tank. we’re talking fat, well fed guppies too.

I think you should add some apple snails and cherry shrimp because the guppies will increase quickly, they will clean the tank for you
