So green star system Shuts down one Diesel engine and starts another Diesel engine ( generator) ….umm ok
This would make a wonderful base to build an Overland Vertical on. Yes EV Bus, EV Trash truck, but is never thought they would agree to EV firetrucks, this is astounding news. They said Riverside will get one in late 2023. Can I see one here in LA before that?
ILUS is way better
we need rosenbauer trucks and especially this one in france.
Bonsoir, non

Huge wastes of public tax money!
What was the price tag? Surely you must know if you deem it a waste.
What a great tool, thanks for sharing with us!
Y would u lock the paramedic door on this truck...
Because it's an advanced life support (paramedic) engine and they use controlled substances (morphine, Valium, versed, fentanyl are some possibilities) which have a high potential for abuse.
Space last ass
Successful this is big white ass
excellent camion
Amazing! (From Switzerland)
In my earlier life I was a Firefighter and Engineer for eight years. Now that I'm retired I look at this new equipment as I shake my head. The fire service is really come a long ways from the days when I held onto a crossbar while riding the tailboard with no safety strap at 70 miles an hour. Freeway runs on the Interstate-5 during torrential rains was no different. First pumper I served on was a 1954 Ward LaFrance with no power steering and an engine hood so long that you could sleep two.
holy shit I hope you don't have many tunnels or overpasses in your town
It's Nevada, and they don't
It is shorter than the double deck transit busses, height is not a worrry. Henderson is about 10 minutes down the freeway from Las Vegas. The temperatures are high enough that it is legal to break car windows to save pets and kids, so that "Green Idle" feature will make a large difference.
whats the engine and trany
this is the most impressive rig i've ever seen!
Great job on the presentation, and great design on the truck. Im not sure I've seen many other US fire truck manufactures that offer this type of truck. This truck was on scene of a dumpster fire in my condo unit not to long after it was placed in service and i witnessed the "Green System" in use, what a great feature. I attempted to talk to the driver and officer, but they weren't to talkative. I really love the pump panel, very clean layout. All in all, its one of the best engines I've seen that uses just about every inch of space for something, nothing hasn't been thought of here. Reminds me of fire trucks built oversees. I see that Engine 81, as well as 97 & 98 have been switched over to Rosenbauer, Are there plans for the Tower Ladders to switch from Pierce to Rosenbauer in the feature? Thanks for all the info, I'd love to see more info on Henderson Fire on KZread.
Bravo Aero-Feu, vous faites de superbes camions :) Je suis de Joliette et prochainement, le service des incendies devrait changer son grand camion échelle (actuellement un Duplex 1988). J'espère qu'ils commanderont le nouveau chez vous!
Merci ! Tout le mérite est pour Rosenbauer ;)
Awesome truck!!
