A Song of Praise Music Festival or ASOP is the only praise songwriting festival on Philippine television.
As one of the advocacies of UNTV’s Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon and International Filipino-Televangelist Bro. Eliseo Soriano, A Song of Praise Music Festival aims to bring back gospel music in the lives of many people and support Original Filipino Music (OPM).
Hosted by Richard Reynoso and Toni Rose Gayda, the songwriting tilt is joined by resident judge Doktor Musico Mon del Rosario, a highly regarded physician-composer, musical director and record producer. Since its inception in 2011, ASOP has successfully staged noteworthy milestones with each year's grand finale.
Hailed as “Best Talent Search Program” at the 31st PMPC Star Awards for TV, ASOP continues to inspire people to offer songs of praise - all for the glory of God, the giver of talents and the reason of our praise and existence.
Airs on Sundays, 7 p.m. on UNTV.

Why can't the judge understand "aasa sa awa mo". Don't we always use this expression when we hope, "sa awa ng Diyos" in English "in God's mercy". Even in celebrating the Mass, we declare for every prayer (hope) :Lord have mercy". Sorry, but I just see that the judges are making it difficult a simple song of Thanksgiving difficult....hayyst 😢
I couldn't find any wrong in the lyrics. The first time I heard the song, the lyrics that immediately touched me is being grateful to God for always at my side, always there to pick me up when I fall. I'm not looking for a story but the gist of the song of God's presence in my life. Are these judges looking for a story that we most likely find in country songs? This is more like of a gospel song than anything else. Anyways, the composer chose the right singer to perform it. Marcelito Pomoy delivered it perfectly well. I couldn't see Jessa in this song from her style/lyrics songs.
