On your remark that during the confinement that they could read the Bible to each other, actually England was a strictly Catholic country at that time. And at that time period as well, the Bible was only written in Latin, and only the Pope, Bishops,.Cardinals, basically all members of the clergy were allowed to read the Bible, (since catholics saw the bible as God's holy word, which it is, but only available for those clergy of the holy Roman church A.K.A the catholic church). There were other books, and scriptures, psalms, ect... but any religious prints legally available, were, again, only in Latin. When Henry broke away from Rome and declared himself head of the English church in order to divorce Catherine and marry Anne Bolyn, he did allow some prints of the Bible to be avaliable to England written in English. Though he would changed his mind on that over and over again. His son, Edward the 6th, officially made England Protestant, only for Henry and Catherine's only surviving child, their daughter Mary the 1st, to return it to Catholicism during her short reign. Elizabeth the 1st made it Protestant again, where the it has remained the official English religion. Her successor, King James the 1st, is who wrote what to this day is considered the Bible written in the English language

That is a great point! Some noble ladies could read Latin, Catherine of Aragon for example, but it was very rare. Before Anne Boleyn it would have been mostly psalms and prayers. Thank you.

Great concept for a podcast, delving into past women rulers but you spent more time talking about the people surrounding Jacquetta than you do about her!

Have you seen "The Knight Before Christmas"? It's comparable to A Knight's Tale in terms of accuracy 😅 but specifies that it starts in 1334, in the reign of King Edward III.
