  They can skirt the sith situation. Notice Sol and the other master are trying to keep this quiet. Either everyone dies completely by the end, or as in the phantom menace the Jedi are blinded by their own arrogance and refuse to admit that they encountered a sith. They are very narrow in their view on them coming back. But they never left, just stayed in the shadows. They were never truly extinct

  I’m not caring for this show at all but to help this series at the end it will be cool if Darth Tenebrous or Darth Plagueis shows up at the last scene and kills Smiley because he almost ruined everything for the Sith return and saying it’s not the right time to reveal ourselves.

  The Jedi showing up was the first strike and they knew it. If you watch the scene closely, Mother Annasaya only strikes after Master Sol approaches one her children and uses a low key mind trick on her, by giving her a very dangerous weapon to kind of tease her I think, because Osha asked Torbin, if all Jedi’s get a lightsaber. So the Jedi struck first!❤

  Ki Adi doesn't have a birth date or a specie life span in canon, so he can be here, now they have to make sense in why he said what he said in episode 1.. so far they haven't mentioned a Sith and he hasn't seen one yet.... keep rocking and stay safe....

  I think this coven is one of many witch clans from Dathomir but exiled / on the run...I'm going to take a guess that some dark force wants to know how the twins were created...the witches are known to be able to reanimate the dead but not to create life so something or someone wants that secret..! Something shady did happen here and was covered up by the 4 Jedi and we've only seen Osha's perspective so far. I also think whatever transpired here is the reason that the Jedi only take kids when they are very young... 🤔

  I think the power to possess someone, with barely a movement, is also a reason for the Jedi returning. I think that scared them to the point that a confrontation we have yet to see occurred ❤

  Okay, since you didn't seem to catch some of the massive plotholes and/or signs that the supposedly "good, persecuted" witches are absolutely disgusting psychopaths, let me highlight a couple: 1) Mae tortures animals with the Force, a real-life early sign of psychosis in children 2) The witches contradict their own dumb "thread" philosophy about the Force constantly. The black mother in a lesson says "The thread cannot be wielded like a weapon" and then proceeds to use it as a force-push weapon seconds later, and there are various flavors of "You are bound to your destiny" followed by "Make a choice for what you want to do" then "I'll have to consult with the others' on Osha's choice to become a Jedi, so they only let her choose things they like, etc 3) The four Jedi, when they show up, are completely peaceful and respectful. The Witches want to murder them on sight, and while they are discussing amongst themselves about doing it they do NOT say "Killing is wrong, we should not kill them", instead they say "If we kill them the rest will come back and have revenge on us" followed by "It's only 4 of them, who will miss them"..they are PSYCHOPATHS. 4) Mae does not like Osha's choice for joining the Jedi, and instead of calmly talking to her Mae threatens to MURDER HER OWN SISTER TO STOP HER...psychopath. 5) Mae steals a tiny book, lights it on fire from a lamp and suddenly fire is blazing all over the place throughout this mountain fortress...that is almost 100% made of stone and metal. Even if they had coated every single floor, wall and ceiling of that place in pure gasoline the fire wouldn't get that bad, stone and metal DO NOT BURN LIKE THAT. Combining this with the scene in an earlier episode of Osha putting out a flickering fire IN THE VACUUM OF SPACE...do the writers of this show not understand how fire works? Elementary school students are taught about the need of combustible fuel, oxygen and heat all needing to be satisfied for fire to exist. The writers of this mess are so comically stupid it's downright baffling how they have any job anywhere.

  Props to you for analyzing these key details. I can see your point of view. Seems to be a world of an imperfect circimstance. Sometimes writers have to work with the concepts and ideas of the shows head runners. At times i do not overthink at the moment of my first viewing, but you have pointed out a lot of details that I saw on my rewatch and have discussed here with my peeps. We are all on point.   @@mensiuschoas for actors: Dafne is in it, and she served in Logan and His Dark Materials. Nobody says she is bad in acting or ugly. Look her up for god sake. She is a hottie now that she is a grown woman and a better actress than Millie Bobby Brown by far. There is that. As for the show? That’s an other business.

  I pass, there is no way they can touch the original movie, the atmosphere, the gothic feel, the aesthetic, above all Brandon Lee. Out of respect,this movie should NOT be remade, the man literally lost his life making this film, these are the movies that must not be touched like EVER. Out of respect for Lee’s family and former fiancé. I will not watch it, is not worth it to give publicity to something I consider disrespectful. Nothing against the actors btw, just my two cents here.

  There is a huge gap left open between episode 5 & 6. I believe they will build on the story and show how Barris & Ahsoka reconciled. Maybe live action?? Plus I don't think she's dead. Damn you Dave Feloni‼️😂

  I really hope that one day we find out which sister was Barriss 😔 We only know that Lyn is the fourth sister, and at the time she was part of the inquisitors, there were only four. That was definitely an open ending, so we'll have to wait (again) for answers. I hope they at least mention her in Ahsoka S2 😭

  After talking with many people, I get the impression that literally half of the fandom doesn't think that Barriss died because of Force Heal. They didn't show us the real visible answer: Lyn's farewell to Barriss or funeral, nor did they show us the healing of that wound. I'll allow myself to even copy a quote from Wookieepedia: "Promising to save her, Rakish (Lyn) held her injured friend, and only then was she able to exit, carrying her body outside." - I'm not saying she survived, just that even Wookieepedia doesn't know if it's death. And sorry, but if that's true and she died, then it's a very very weak death scene, if not then it's a disorienting open ending. Additionally that character returns after 11 years just to die? Filoni talked for years about plans for Barriss, if it was only those 3 shorts and her death, they could have made a comic or done nothing because it's a total waste of her potential. I'll add another argument - Ventress's return. That character died and was resurrected. Despite Ventress's beautiful conclusion, she will receive another story. At the same time, Barriss would only get 3 shorts and death? That would be favoritism and a total disrespect for Barriss. Now even if Barriss appears in events before Episode 6, she'll have permanent plot armor. Unless she survived. Then it would be interesting because this character has a lot to offer: Ahsoka, and rebuilding trust and sisterly friendship Perhaps a student and creating her legacy Helping Lyn in redemption and finding balance along with her own path Maybe some form of communication with Luminara and learning how to become one with the Force Hidden Path Mandoverce And those are ideas that came to my mind in just a few seconds. Morality is not the only aspect of this character, her potential is realy huge.

  the protagonist of the story is Barris but the redemption arc narrated is that of the fourth sister hence the open ending

  @@alessandromancini4533 I'm not a fan of this ending. Before this series, I asked myself: What happened to Barriss? After: What happened to Barriss? Did she survive? I would preferred clear answers rather than leaving fans with speculations, especially regarding a potential character death. As for Lyn, in my and others opinion, Barriss must be alive for her redemption arc. Otherwise, fans will hate Lyn and won't care about her path or redemption. Lyn could end up like Fox. Fox regretted shooting Fives, but he did it, so fans hated him. The same could happen with Lyn. Unless Barriss is alive, then her redemption arc is safe.

  to think this show was based off of Delta Squad. now Scorch dies a useless death. i have an alternative universe head-canon where Delta Squad is actually called the bad batch after they recognized their chips failed to execute, and the one working around hemlock would be wrecker, beacause duh, a supersized, superpowerd, brainwashed, would make a great right hand.
