Those things are a Pain in the ASS when you have to change a ceiling tile.. The wingnuts stick out so far you cant get the tile to seat, especially if you have suspension wires on the opposite side of the sprinkler mount... It is nearly impossible to change a ceiling tile without breaking it, and if you unclamp the one side there is no way to reattach it once the tile is in place if there is a light on that side... Total Nightmare !

Our company purchased one recently and have been using it for a week now and this morning it wouldn’t turn on. We believe it might be the general relay “ice cube relay” has anyone else had this problem?

So you don't have to open an inspectors test or auxiliary drain, to allow good air flow?

So you stand on the opposite side of the machine and the machine operates in forward instead of typically going in reverse to groove. I bet that turns people off about this just based off that.

Seems to be improved. I like the idea of being able to swap out the guide sleeve without having to take the clamp off the pipe. Hole too small? No problem! Plus, if I'm understanding this correctly, this one can be used on a 4" pipe. The one I have maxes out on 3" pipe

Agreed. I bought this and the LZ1 model (green) and I have the same issue. What direction/orientation should the laser holder face? In coordination with the flat part of the level? In line with the viles? Great invention if we could get assistance with this issue.

  • @argco1

Tim. Argco will replace your LZ1. Give us a call 800-854-1015. (The new laser faces the opposite direction of where you screw into the fitting)

Our company purchased these laser levels for us but for some reason I can't figure out on how to leave the laser set.I am aware it comes with an Allen wrench but you twist the laser to turn it on the laser moves out of place which then gives you incorrect visual measurements.I had left mine set but you can spin it and you can see the laser will be way off.please help!

If you are using @Victaulic couplings (like on this video) you need to measure depth on the groove. You can not just put a coupling on the grooved pipe. This is wrong and can cause system malfunction.
