I was denied a visa after the visa officer only asked me Name of the Person I was visiting and also if I was married and I said no. Last question was where am I going. I was confused when she gave me a letter stating why I was denied.

Hi, what’s your advise on reapplying from a third country if you’ve recently been refused in your home country, the odds is that your school date starts soon and the next interview date in your home country is over a month in your home country. You’re already a student in the USA but was refused a returning visa.

if VO ask me : "What's your purpose visit to US?". Can i answer this based on i write on DS-160: "My wife & I are going to LA and other cities in California on Sep 3rd until Sep 24th for summer holiday. We already book return flight and hotels for those trip". Is this kind of answer categorized too long / too much details? Or should i just say "We're going to holiday to LA & SF on September"
Your answer seems good, but there's no need to mention that flights and hotels are booked. Officers don’t expect bookings prior to visa approval.

And is it a red flag to stay for 6 months for this purpose?
