Funny how nobody showing this counter is actually being put into the truck or twister position. It only works if your opponent does a move they have no idea how to do.

I’ve watched you for years and years I used to live in Arlington when I first started bjj in 03 but I live in wisconsin now. I never got to train with you. I when I found out who you were and where you taught I was so disappointed that I moved. I love your teaching I never understood why people were throwing shade when you first came on the scene. But that was all bullshit considering how big you are now and you always showcased your grappling. You easily beat black belts. Anyways congratulations on everything you have accomplished

Just found your yt. I memorized Fade to Black right when it came out. Much better than Glover's Darcepedia. My nickname was darce for like four years. I stood at a lot of podiums with mostly your darce game finishes. I mixed a bit of the Mendes brothers anaconda/guillotine game to your fade to black stuff and it made front headlock turtle and top half a playground. Thanks for your work man!

I also found this guard to be useful when your opponent manages to pass your open guard and is either standing up, or is leaning forward or is slow to get into side control.

Seems too low to the ground no pressure on his upper body when you sprawl cant he just start posting with his arms/legs while pushing on your face and then have space to get up or pummel legs back inside
