Downtown Willoughby for a fraction of a second. I tried to see how many locations I recognized. I think 6 because the Arcade and Cleveland Public Library and maybe the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland was shown 2 times. I felt like that guy Rainbolt the Geoguessr for a second. (If you dont know what I am talking about, its worth the google.)

My family had a trailer at this place when it was opened all those years ago. The 2 tone sage green trailer with the "rest at bonfire" graffiti on it to be specific. It was a shame when it had to ultimately close down because of the issues that transpired after the parents died and their children inherited it.

My dad worked there from 1947 to 1958 and then served as president of the union for four terms. I remember the day, in the mid 50s, when management had an open house. We were amazed at the size of the plant. My brother worked in the spinning room for three years in the early 60s.

Great video, Johnny! I experimented with the white and highlight sliders and found the same results as you mentioned in your video. White covers a wider tonal range and is more aggressive than highlights. If I had found your video earlier, I could have saved some time. 😊 Nonetheless, it is always beneficial to experiment on your own. You could consider delving deeper into this topic by comparing retouching techniques using sliders and curves. It is quite challenging to find a comprehensive video tutorial on this particular process. Alternatively, you could provide an in-depth exploration of the calibration panel or offer a detailed explanation similar to this one, comparing contrast sliders, clarity, and dehaze. Whatever you decide, it is essential to provide a thorough explanation, not only addressing how it can be done but also explaining why it is done that way, as you did in this video. I'm not sure if I have been helpful, but these are just a few possible ideas. Cheers! I appreciate your teaching style and pace. Keep up the good work! 👌

@@UrbexUS Oh gosh it was you sitting in your car filming and there was a torrential downpour. I love rain ☔️ You also had a video inside an abandoned building and you filmed a strange white thing that looked like a spiral ribbon. I know you aren’t into the paranormal but it moved upward from the bottom of the elevator shaft.

I have such a natural deep connection, appreciation, and respect for historical sites, buildings, places, and homes. I think of the soul's that built them and the soul's that have traveled through them. I think of all that's happened in the world since they've been built. I've always wanted to be able to buy and restore abandoned historical places such as this. I literally feel a deep emotional connection with them. I know it has a lot to do with the energy, "souls," that's connected to them. I have an extreme amount of respect and appreciation for all those who have and are restoring historical buildings, homes, sites, etcetera. You rule!

My interest in your work and the incredible House of Wills is just hitting me solid. Haunted dunno... cross grid location.. definately. It brought me to tears, but more so when I heard of the work that you intend to do. Perhaps a cross grid local isn't the only parallels here. I am currently working on a bike build and show for troubled youth in Denver, Co. Late going, but exciting just the same. I was one of those homeless after leaving my home on Cleveland St. In illinois (little Egypt) since my husband hung himself years ago. You are right.. if you set your mind to something.. well ... best wishes to you and I am happy to hear that I am not the only one that still digs the superhero 'when I grow up' headstrong goal. See you on the flipside. Who knows... maybe introductions someday on our paths. Toodles
