I know, it's the FACE that launched a thousand ships, but it's just impossible for me to judge a woman's beauty before I see her whole body move. Beauty just must include grace. I've seen a lot of Greek statues, and I feel sure that the Greek sculptors would agree with me. They were very good at inducing stone to imply graceful movement. All of that said, the Helen I've always imagined is most like the first face, the blonde blue-eyed one without makeup. I knew when I first read stories about her that her coloring was very fair and she had blue eyes, and also that this coloring was rare. I don't know how I knew that. Perhaps my grandmother said so, or there was an illustration. I also thought of her as graceful, but I don't know why. I'm not interested in makeup, but, then, most Spartan women weren't, either.

why should Mary have accepted Anne? 'spitefully' is the wrong word to use.

I think Jane was far prettier then they gave her credit for if she looked like her portrait. Edward is so handsome and adorable at the same time.

Wonderful. This video has to be one of my faves alongside the work you did on Mary, Queen of Scots, Hatshepsut and the Romanov Dynasty. I particularly admire the recreations you make and I enjoy the brilliant music. I hope to someday see facial recreations of the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia. Keep it up.

I think you should have portrayed her in today's characteristics as well so we could see a woman who would, by today's beauty standards, launch a thousand "ships." As in marrying to characters together in a lovers couple. Also called shipping shorted 🎉from the term relationship. I do see a lady golfer named Grace Charis in this portrayal.

Old Henry was approaching his sell-by-date and with trouble in the hydraulics dept. Poor "un🎉atractive" Anne was the scapegoat for his deficiency in the marital bed, but as luck would have it, Anne's rejection was her winning lottery ticket...

Remember that the portrait was ALREADY LIKELY BEAUTIFIED. So when you add to that its becomse something wholly unrealistic.

The recreations are TOO BEAUTIFIED and thus seem a bit unrealistic and plastic. Most humans are imperfect in looks when not heavily made up

The ironic thing about the Romanovs, the majority of Russians fought to end Russian monarchy for communism in hopes of a better life which lead to mass killings with estimates of over 65,000,000 Russians alone having been killed under it, not counting the millions of people in surrounding countries that were conquered. Crazy how history works, poor kids being executed for the sins (more so the stupidity) of their father.

Beautiful work recreating her. And I love the options of the black hair and red hair most likely she would have something in between I think. But she looks very traditionally Greek / Middle Eastern with the black hair.

The fact that TWO of his wives struggled with pregnancy makes me wonder what they were all eating, what Henry's sp€rm was like, etc. That's too much to be a coincidence IMO... I also wonder if they could have all lived with modern medicine, including Edward.
