do i get manual or auto boys???
you truly must be fkn joking. $2000 for a bike with a 10 amp hour battery, mechanical disc brakes, zero suspension, and other crap components? 😂😂😂.
Hey man, it's the guy who sold you the X pipe. Just wanted to say I love the videos, it's nice to see some Mustang content around the Chicagoland area. Hmu if you have any questions on the pipe, or want some tips on installing it. Can't wait to hear it when it's installed!
Please bring back editing subscribers photos :)
Thanks for the vid. Some really nice Stangs there, for sure.
WB! Love the opening title, " Good Morning, Neighbors.' I think like that every morning and no matter the time of day, when I start my Mustang. 🙃
S197 is really growing on me. I find myself looking at it and thinking it actually has aged very well. S550 looks great as well but the more I look at it the more I see a Ford Fusion front end, and it's ruining it for me haha 😊
yeah i love the s550 but it has a more modern electric look to it only thing i dont like
Can we get an update video
Yes, I will be filming an update video shortly on this car.
I’m looking into getting a v6 this this year
Nice!
I have a '14 Black GT Convertible Premium with the Navigation and Brembo Brake packages with just under 32,000 miles on it. I bought it used in July 2015 with ~6,400 miles on it. I bought it in Michigan from a large dealership and it was actually a Canadian car bought in Canada at a Hertz auction. Still with full dealer warranty I got it at a steal of just over $32,000. I couldn't believe it when I could find nothing negative in the car's history. Since and soon after I started modding it. JPL Cold air and SVT tune at a Mustang performance shop, followed by BBK LTH, X-pipe with high flow cats, and Vari-Tune mufflers (love them). Ebach Sport lowering springs, some nice chromed beefier LCAs and adjustable pan hard bar. Rouch chin splitter and blacked out side markers. I run 285x40x19 NITTOs on the rear/245s on the front. Never on salt or snow, summer driver only. Plus, I'm a 72 old man that I would consider a "spirited driver" but I don't beat my cars with repeated burn outs and never drifted it. Any offers? 🤔🙂
Sounds like you got yourself a nice ride my friend. Keep enjoying it 🤝
Got photos of it?
Im interested
@@AngelRodriguez-kx9bb Sorry, not for sale.
Im planning to buy a gt 2012 for 20k with 38k mileage is it worth the bag
That’s a decent deal. 11-12 go for less than 13-14’s, but for the mileage, I’d personally want be ok with 20k as long as it was the color and options I wanted.
Auto or manual for a 2014 is the real question?
I prefer the 6r80 personally, but many will say the same about the mt82. Just depends on your driving preference.
Auto. Shifts faster than manual, the 6R80 is very reliable and tunable. My previous tow Mustangs were manuals ('65 289 with 4 spd, and '03 GT with 5 spd). My '14 GT with the 6 spd auto and tuned is fast and snappy and will chirp the tires going from 2nd to 3rd. There many reports and videos covering this. In the past the manuals would allow for faster times and shift speeds, but not now. Too bad the '14 didn't come with paddle shifters.
Solid axle lol drag car handling not really.
Solid axle > IRS. But I’m sure I’ll get hate for that 😂
Those terminators are absolutely beautiful. I'm planning on buying one in less than a year
Definitely a nice lineup! Wish I would have drove mine. Good luck on purchasing yours! My advice would be to wait for a good deal because they’re going up in price.
@SVTEvan I've been watching them for a long time now...its killing me not buying one as they are going crazy high lol
Lools like a really nice event
Sure was!
What exhaust do you have on this V6 mustang
SLP Powerflo axleback
Thank you. Just got a 2006 v6 that want to fix up for my daughter and only has 137k miles on it.
What’s up bro where you been? Finally got my 4.0 running again over heated in August last year, finally got it back this March new engine feels so good to be back in the stang I need a 5.0 though. One day
Hey man! Been super busy, but back to posting again finally! Glad to hear you got a new engine for yours!
The king is back?
I’m back 😈
Garbage ?
?
Absolutely I believe these cars are worth having. I'm currently driving a 98 Cobra which I like but have thought about selling it and getting a 13-14 Mustang GT. I'd like to have one in Grabber Blue if I could find one.
If you can get one, do it. I think these will continue to go up in price.
I am in Chicago too & wanted to ask if you daily it, especially with the snow lol
I wouldn’t drive this one in the snow. I have 5 other vehicles, one of which is my true daily that I drive in the winter.
@@SVTEvan Gotcha! I was pretty certain it wouldn’t be good in the snow. Right now I have an s5, so maybe if I keep both. Thanks!
Hi man! Great car! Could you please tell your wheel spec, diameter, width and offset?
Thanks! Honestly no idea what specs they were. Got the car with them. Sold them for better wheels & specs.
do you think i can ride it im a 12 year old thats 4 foot 7
Yes, you’d be fine.
i totally agree! love the 2013 & 14s Mustang SO MUCH!!
🙌🏻
what was the name of the exhuast?
Slp powerflo axleback
Do you still have the V6?
Sure do
Will the stock gt plenum cover fit the 2008 4.0 mustang v6?
Not sure
I have a deep impact blue 14 with Roush axel backs. Haven’t done the over axel pipes but I added a Pypes cat delete X pipe and I sounds like yours. I believe mine is probably louder. I bought it new and it just hit 200k miles and still love it.
With cat deletes, you’re certainly louder. Amazing to hear you’re at 200k miles and going strong!
Don't know if you still have the 4.0. The world record with a 4.0 was done with a turbo. 149 mph. Now if you wanted , or for other readers . A modest canned tune. An H pipe two free flow mufflers. Pro turned the modest v6 into a true dual exhaust. I wrapped the upper exhaust in header fiberglass. No need to change these because Ford gave the mustang V6 tuned headers. I installed DEI insulation on. all fuel lines all electric (coil ,battery plug wires. Accel Super cool,, I called Ford racing, who sent me a set of Coyote 'cables" 10mm silicone which I put together the terminal locking boots, called Holley who sent me 14k gold Terminal wires. Each was then also wrapped in DEI. YOU MAY NOTICE MY ATTEMPT to make everything stay cool. At the same time the entire engine bay is becoming heavy duty. Next I changed all fluids. Brake, Power Steering, Coolant, Transmission, Differential. New calipers and rotors. Wagner ceramic pads all around. Then car was lowered 1.5 in. Which was quickly followed by ever ball joint, control arms front and rear And ALL Bushings replaced. According.l to the guy that holds the record. The 4.0 is a Torque monster. It will never beat a car with an over all better speed But a standard, which has the T5 can be a GT killer Perhaps not in the 1/4 mile, but it could in the 1/8. You know stop light to stop light. And I know with the 93 race tune, it will snap your neck. And my first time with that tune I came on the highway and saw a spot between 2 trucks where It could get to n the left lane. Going right ghr center, center to left , took apx 3 seconds but she went from 40mph to 95 mph in that time. I decided that was a bit much for my daily driver. Oh and Competition Cams makes the only race cam known for the 4.0. That's if you are going for GT killer.
I have always loved the gen 1 5.0s but I am terrified of that mt82 lol. I like to enjoy my cars and I don’t want to worry every time I wanna bang gears
I've had mine for 8 years and haven't had one issue with my mt82
@@Km90__1do you beat on your car? At the most I’d have headers and a 18+ manifold
I definitely dont baby the car. My mods are about the same. Personally i think its a hit or miss with the transmissions. Ive been lucky with mine 🤷@tommy_2ss
That’s why I went 6r80. If I want to go through the gears, I’ll drive my terminator cobra :)
As a V6 owner of a 2014 mustang, would I love to have a V8? Of course I would but that doesn't mean I have no love for my V6. To me, a mustang is a mustang regardless of the engine that's under your hood. You can still have fun with a V6 by doing some inexpensive mods such as a CAI and exhaust system and if you really wanted to get serious, a super charger even. Nevertheless, V6 owners can be proud even it isn't a GT 5.0.
A couple of months back i bought a 15 GT manual i really wanted a 13-14 but before that had a 11 v6 and loved the body style but only went with S550 for that updated interior and independent suspension.
I have a 05 convertible 4.0 manual very liable
👍🏻
My dad bought a 2005 4.0 from a salvage yard for $2800 about a year ago, and he had some incredible ambitions and big plans for this Mustang. He was either going to 302 crate swap or rebuild 4.0 w/ ported heads and cams. Me and dad were also looking at cool cosmetics as well while doing our research. But what sucks is that he never really got to start working on it because of cancer. So now I've taken upon myself to continue and finish my dads Mustang in tribute to him (12/31/23). "Why didn't he get a v8?" He's had plenty, from a 1969 Mach 1 to a 1970 built 383 w/440 heads Plymouth Cuda. He had some other cool ass classics back in his day.
Were did you get the spoiler? I have been looking for one that fits no luck
09 here, unclog those plugs behind the engine on both sides often, and carefully remove and preserve your leather panels and temporarily replace with plastic ones
I love my V6 mustang 16 gal tank i can go from Lubbock texas to Huston texas in a full tank of gass that over 500 miles
I've got a 14 gt premium with 13500 on the clock I'd be willing to part with if the money is right..
Could you contact me im in the market for a 13-14
This isn't a new car! What the hell. To fail so prematurely? Shit doesn't on any car. Grow up. Did this video make you any bigger boy.
love the video, but be careful abt posting. you can see the appt numbers and park spot number. just be safe homie
It took forever for me to secure mine.. all the damn deep impacts had the damn leather seats!! The cloth is definitely the way to go in the mustangs... Nice man DIB definitely the best color option. So much potential too
water can also get inside the doors so make sure to pull the drain plugs on the bottom of the door and rinse it out if you hear sloshing..
How
@@klb12393 it can get in thru the window seal and the drain plugs are just on the bottom of the door.. sometimes leaves or stems can get in there and clog the drain.. 2 minute job..
CHEAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP??????????????????????????SICKOOOOOOOOO
I got the v6 a little over a year ago (s550 3.7) because I could not afford the 5.0 insurance and so far I have to say the thing rips, I have taken it to some autocross events and plan to drag race it and so far it is the best car a new car guy could ask for
I have a 2013 mustang Gt premium with track pack & also the Glass Roof packing in Deep impact Blue. With 60k mileage according to my Marty’s report, my car is 1 of 271 in my color and the packings that I have. I love my car
In between buying a 2014 or a 2020. Manual
Hard choice what you get ? I have a 13’ GT Premium black on black
