A great video, I feel like a flat metal mount would be easier than building a case out of wood for it, and lighter too. What I was really hoping to take out of this despite the accurate title was how you casted your maps to the screen. What device you used and which programs.

They've had problems with delivery since some time during Mk II when they switched to printing in China, and just never went away. The Iron Kingdoms started as a trilogy of adventure modules for D&D 3rd edition. Pre-Warmachine. Later they printed up a bunch of stuff for 3.5. THEN their in-house RPG came, and it was sadly undersupported. Yes, they did several supplements, and a weekly free thing on their website. But the web download frequently got buried in all the other announcements on their blog, and they never finished it by covering the non-human kingdoms of Cryx, Ios, and Rhul in the bug hardcover they were supposed to get, and Eastern Immoren got one (comparatively) tiny softcover on the Skorne Empire, the Monsternomicon for IK RPG was pathetic compared even to the d20 version, and they never covered the southern continent like they promised, either. They also never fixed the problems with integrating warjacks into IK RPG (they worked very well in d20, on the other hand). Then they wrecked WarmaHordes - not just rules-wise - with Mk III, trying to move to a different model for books, then abandoning print books entirely, and now no one could follow the storyline, and you were out money when you realized you had to print a new set of stat cards every time you played, since all the armies were getting constant tweaks and updates. Then the Harrowing or whatever it was called happened, then a couple of weird games came out, and before I knew it they were trying to hawk a far future warcaster game set on a spaceship after the whole Iron Kingdoms solar system blew up or something. It was confusing. Then along came this product and Mk IV amd I thought we'd get an update to the original setting finally, but I decided not to get Mk IV when I found I could not use my $12k of existing miniatures, and I missed out on the 5e books.

I've been using this sort of indoor/outdoor carpet to cover my gaming tables, since around 1995. This stuff is nigh in-destructable as a table covering! The first carpet piece I used, received an upgrade: original had a line pattern in it, the new piece (still in use today) had no patterns whatsoever; I used the lined, original piece to cover my steps in my garage -- it was pristine after 15+ years of gaming use. I also used faux leather (vinyl) from the fabric store. Mine was burgundy in color. My Ping Pong Tabletop was hashed, so I used carpet tape to connect the two vinyl pieces needed to cover my 5' x 9' tabletop. I pulled the vinyl just taught, securing it on the underside of the table with furniture tacks, on all sides. It served me superbly, for many a year. When I retired that table (replaced it with a carpenter-built custom gaming table), I removed the vinyl for other projects. Both the vinyl (faux leather, comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns - looks like expensive leather...) and the carpet are extremely wear-resistant. You cannot go wrong with either choice! Cheers!

Im quite happybto keep playing Mk2 WarmaHordes until PP proves by a significant amount thag Mk4 is worth playing. I did the same with GW (sticking with 7th Fantasy and 4.5th 40k). At least some of Mk4 changes sound intriguing though like buffing battlegroups (harkening Mk1 vibes), semi-tailoring spell lists and some measuring clean ups like 1" melee and how blast/sprays work. I never had a problem playing deathclock even with lists that had tons of order of operation intricacies....but that was also part of the fun was getting my own knowledge/experience of my army and decision making more efficient even under a crunch. Ill be keeping my eyes out for Mk4 news, still bot a ton on youtube even almost halfway into 2024 though 😔

Your design has no ventillation. All the heat from the TV is trapped in the box. A friend of mine made a design much more open than what you did and did not use any active ventillation like I suggested he did... his TV died after 3 gaming sessions. TVs are not designed to be operated lying down, and they are designed to exaust heat from the top. When you lay it down, the heat has nowhere to go so the TV overheats.
