The Decibelles are Dartmouth's oldest all-female a cappella group, usually consisting of 12-16 members. They arrange all their own music and sing songs from a variety of genres, including modern pop and rock tunes, Dartmouth traditionals, oldies, barbershop, and pretty much anything and everything in between!
In addition to performing frequently around the Dartmouth campus, the Decis sing at other colleges, at community events in and around the Upper Valley, and at Dartmouth Alumni Clubs. Every year during Winter break, the Decis go on a weeklong tour of various parts of the world, most recently to Southern California, London, and NYC.
Auditions for the Decibelles are held each year at the beginning of Fall Term, just before the start of classes.

Is this a super girl cult or something?
I don't know why this got recommended to me, but awesome job! Can't imagine all the hard work that goes into this.
Talented team but you all desperately need a better microphone and maybe an audio engineer? This is tragic..
Be nice dipro. Love, mom
@@kruistochtinspijkerbroek2786 Hey. Sorry if that came off as not nice. I only said it was tragic because they deserved better recording due to their obvious talent. If i didnt think they were talented, it would not make sense to call it tragic. I say this because now 2024 such technology is really easy to use and affordable. I am sure their university can provide some.
@@dipro001 haha dont worry man, I was just joking :) But I do agree that better equipment would help them a lot! Have a good day!
@@kruistochtinspijkerbroek2786 good to hear that. Are you actually a mom then?
@@dipro001 no no not at all, I’m a student
Real 🔥 Energy from everyone, love it
The whitest rendition of a Aretha Franklin classic.
*Gloria Gaynor, please know your classics
Love this! :) This song, thank you for singing it!

Чудесные девчонки)
Beautiful song! Beautiful ladies! Beautiful singing! There’s hope!
Why do college singers feel the need to sway? And ladies, it’s woman, not someone please.
Lovely and those harmonies just so beautiful sounded like a group of angels singing ❤❤❤
Beautiful rendition.
Sometimes, the background vocals cover up the lead vocals. Beautiful harmonies.
That was great girls love from london
Loved it girls you should be proud x
🫂☺️
🥲
That was beautiful!! I enjoyed listening to these beautiful young ladies sing. Thank you!!!
You girls are angels. No matter how messed up this world is. I have been through hell and back and this is really just a blessing. Thank you beautiful ladies.
Super super SUPER!!!!!
Great rendition.
Beautiful performance’s by you guys thank you ❤❤❤
0:47 That A on "some-" should be an A#. A little tricky without accompaniment, I guess.
Ok raging geekazoid
@@DVDJDPR It would sound richer if the other girls could fill in the whole chord (F#7). Depends on how much training they have. It sounds like it's just not in the arrangement they're doing.
Randy Meisner you ain't.
❤❤❤
Sweet; harmonious; sentimental! Nicely done, ladies! Love, Cav. *
Nice.
Awesome performance and beautiful harmonies, well done girls ❤❤
Randy Meisner from small town Nebraska to the bright lights of LA to form one of the best bands of all time. What a great cover! Wow!
Assume you are referencing POCO
Brave! ❤
I would define their great cover as harmony vocals, which of course, was something the early phase of the Eagles had perfected. Outstanding work and with heart, Girls; I would love to strum acoustic/jam on electric with you as backup. I know quite a few songs by the Eagles, and Blue Oyster Cult.
This shouldn't work, but it does!
Love those harmonies!!
Well done ladies, well done.
0:41 I haven't watched the whole video yet. I'm just wondering as they are women, and starting out high, how high will it get by the end. Let's see. (edit) Ah, they didn't do the entire thing. Got it. Still a beautiful cover.
