This thing looks Awesome! Just scared to see what it actually Costs. I am a big Fan of Trick Tools and their products, I know if they are selling it that it’s a Quality Tool. I’ve never purchased anything from them that wasn’t Top Shelf Quality. I own a Beveler Machine called the Beaver, but it can’t do all the things this one can. It can only handle Flat Plate type Metal.

Does it have a work-stop so you can cut a lot of consistent blanks?

  • @pbunt1911

If a Google search doesn’t produce any results, you might consider a mag base. MagSwitch makes one that is pretty much designed as a stop. The cutting base of the saw is aluminum so you’d have to use the steel vertical surface. Not exactly a factory solution, but it might get the job done.

Nothing comes standard with the machine, however Ellis does offer a length stop accessory. See the link below. www.trick-tools.com/Built_in_Support_Stand_w_Length_Stop_for_Ellis_Bandsaws_6252_ELL_2214

Wow that’s expensive! Probably made of Titanium,Chromoly and Tungsten !! ✌️❤️ I’m thinking of using this type bender on a shifter cart and need the tubing flawless ! Of coarse I need the tubing roughly 31-33mm Od I may just do like I have been, draw it up and order from local steel company!! I’m really just paying 7-10$ bend ! Any suggestions would be great, Weld it up! ❤❤❤

This machine is certainly at the top of the tube bender chain, however it's not a requirement for bending tubular frames such as a roll cage or shifter cart. We have other rotary draw tubing benders that work great for these applications and produce a very nice bend. A great starting point would be the Pro-Tools MB105HD or if this is for production work, the Baileigh RDB-250 is a great machine as well that's often used for building roll cages and even Top Fuel drag cars. The price point of these machines will be much more affordable. Of course there is a time and a place for Transfluid Mandrel benders, however for your application, something smaller may be the better option.
