Awesome job! I grew up in Crystal and now I'm in Champlin, You should do this in either city... again, great job!
Does anyone know how to fix a key no longer registering when you play?
I have two of these that I got for peanuts and use them with my Volcas and other synth hardware - I love them so much - 3 AA batteries last forever, full size keys, keybed is pro quality, and velocity sensitive too! I like them better in a lot of ways than my Arturia Keystep 37.
I think Carl there really had a point
glad you are stoked, I WANT ONE!!!!!
this is good, i really needed the tabs for the little electric licks in the background during the bridge and this helped a lot
That's some Primus meets TOOL shit right here
Guy is scared
Cool! What Drone do you have?
I just ordered one. Is that Modep. ?
you loved it? is it a mode for pi? how can I make one?
I found one at a thrift shop yesterday for $9. I thought no way is this compatible, and sure enough it works lol. Super rad
Is that real?
*Promosm* 😜
I have the wii version and a usb to midi cable how do I make this work cause idk what I'm doing
hey nice jeff rosenstock flag. i got that same one
Just so you know, that first like was from me! And you deserve it 🙂
What a great cover of a great song! When the singer started singing, I actually thought I heard Kurt's voice. Yet, the singer is not trying to imitate Kurt. In fact, the whole band is not pretending to be or look like Nirvana, which I appreciate. The song is very powerful and therefore rightfully played with enthusiasm. I see there are more videos of this evening available on this channel, and I'm definitely going to watch them!
beautiful
Dude, your voice sounds so good! You've commemorated the song so well! Cheers, Matt from Australia
Le batteur ne rentre pas assez dans les fûts, très dommage. Mais vous êtes trop bons quand même les copains :)
It's kind a like low tuning cello with phaser effect.
I was there and it was very cool! Great house and studio and staff, and Al Church did the music justice.
Totally agree all around. It kinda felt like a "once in a lifetime" experience for me and I'm super glad I was able to attend. I hope Pachyderm considers doing more small shows like that in the future. I drove by there all the time as a kid just to see if I could spot anyone famous but had never been behind the (usually closed) gate.
Hey! Thanks for capturing a video of us! I’m the dude on drums
You are so good! I have fond memories of trying to learn "Scentless Apprentice" on the drums when I was a bit younger. Haven't played any Nirvana tunes in a while but you fine folks made me want to do a Nirvana cover! Hope getting to play there was as fun for you as it was for us that got to watch!
@@NpakadermIt was a bucket list item for me just to see the space but to do all of In Utero is easily my greatest musical honor I’ve ever had.
amazing
First! All of this!
Oops I was finger drumming in view of the camera for a few seconds there. I have a hard time not air drumming when there's live music.
Understandable! Thanks again for capturing
New Era of guitar
An asylum of loons?
Wow, it sounds exactly like a synth! I'm surprised no famous bands became known for doing this. (Unless there is one that I just don't know about.)
check out sigur rós :) jónsi plays guitar with a violin bow and it sounds absolutely incredible
Whoa, this is pretty cool! It sounds super futuristic
Can it be plugged straight into and amp or does it have to go into a PC?
Midi controllers (like this one) don't work with amps because they just send note signals and don't actually have a synthesizer to produce any kind of sound.
I have a wok version of the keyboard and for some reason the 5white keys and 3 black keys (minus the last key) all the way to the right don’t do anything, my setup is power to midi engine and midi in aux port and headphones and the keyboard has batteries ,is there something missing with my setup and where do you connect the usb, if anyone else knows pleas let me know.thank you for your time
"For some reason" it's because they're f***in' awesome and leveraged mass production for the masses!
The actual piano keys count as notes in the pro mode of the game as well. So you can play real songs on it. It's a bit awkward because the keyboard is very tiny but hey it works.
The funny thing is I have an M-Studio StudioKey 49 Mk1 I wanted to use with Rock Band 3 and I have the now crazy expensive ($400!) MadCatz MIDI Pro adaptor (I got it for $30 I think)... but I can't use my StudioKey keyboard with Rock Band 3! I had to buy this MatCatz keyboard to play. WTF is wrong with all these keyboards using "MIDI" USB?! That's NOT MIDI damn it! MIDI is MIDI! Not USB! I even have a Roland USB to MIDI adaptor but it's USB-A not USB-B (provides power) so it's useless as well.
MIDI is both a physical connector and a communication protocol that can transmitted over USB (and also a digital interface as well). The reason all the new keyboards made today use USB over the old MIDI port is because of the "U" in USB. Computers are not built to process raw electrical signals from music instruments (especially with low latency and a decent buffer size), hence why audio interfaces are needed for pretty much any kind of music production despite how fast computers have gotten.
@@datboijdope Yes, of course MIDI is a physical port and a communication protocol. However, saying something has "a MIDI port" very specifically means the physical port. The U in USB may stand for "Universal" but saying a USB port is automatically a MIDI port is like saying your car is a 1953 Corvette because the C in car stands for Corvette... but your car is actually a 1976 Chevette.
@@RealStuntPanda I'm just replying to your original comment (which has no mention of a "MIDI port"), as some people, understandably, don't know what MIDI actually is, to provide extra context. I can't speak so much to the contrived hypotheticals that you just outlined there. 👆 The part that I'm replying to specifically is: "...WTF is wrong with all these keyboards using "MIDI" USB?! That's NOT MIDI damn it!" I just assumed that you meant MIDI which seems to be the correct interpretation unless, of course, you're suggesting that "MIDI" and "MIDI port" mean the exact same thing.
sounds like a fighter plane from ww2
Roger Waters from Pink Floyd played his bass with a violin bow.
Didn't expect not hearing the dry sound
