Dave where have you been man we need more videos mate
At a Turner site they wanted you to Twist them off😂
How can a residential sparky get into doing this type of work ? Looking to learn something new and interesting
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
excellent video!! Which one has the sharpest cut in your opinion? I'm looking to buy the Marvel mrv200N. do you recommend it? cuts more than Knipex?
Thanks mate. All solved now 👍
Hey man! Follow you on IG…. And have now found your KZread :))) Was wondering if you think the fluke 1664FC is worth it compared to the Fluke 1993. I’m looking to buying my first multi function tester (freshly qualified)… I think that the Fluke 1994 probably has features I don’t need unless I was a business owner. What do you think? The 1663 does all the tests really, including EV. The 1664 is also an extra 2k. I want a multi function tester that can last me a really long time for nearly every area of the electrical industry. Would you recommend me getting the 1663? Or maybe a different brand of multi function tester. Fluke has a really good sale on the 1663 atm as well. Cheers, Lily
I would definitely consider some other MFTs, kewtech/metrel/megger are all on par. I did think the 1664 was worth the extra $$ for the features (especially auto test and pre-test) it shouldn't be 2k more though 🤔 Msg me on the gram and I'll try and get you a discount through fluke direct
Do you want to see 8 grand in hand tools without batteries lol jk my guy you do have a lot of really good tools I’m a collector slash user of all the same tools myself so I know the struggle
I did that but my second light won't work... what am I doing wrong?
Not hiring a licenced sparky 👍
Where did you buy the dies from?
Where did you buy the dies from?
Just use em they will get dirty and show perfectly
Have you used that leakage meter much? Is it any good?
You nicked the cable
I’ll be honest i see a lot of people saying you carry way too much and that’s fine everyone can like and do as they please but im like you. I like having as much as possible with me at all times. Sometimes im deep inside a factory and it feels so good when you need something odd and you have it in your bag and dont have to walk all the way to the truck to get some you’ll use for 5 seconds
I agree. Feel the same way. If I could bring every single tool with me on every single job I would, but for me it gets too heavy. So I keep a big tool bag in the car with all the “special” tool.
what's the reason for them to be having the two "safety" contactors? is it just an industry safety standard or something?
Yeah mate it's for redundancy - if a set of contacts weld shut the safety circuit still won't work cos there are always 2 sets
@@WillmannElectrical ah yep makes sense
Hi man, which tool do you use to make them not sharp?
Kind've takes away the need for dedicated wire strippers. All in one pliers that are just plain linesmans.
Sexy nail you've got there! My daughter is nine and she's finally outgrown the daddy makeovers. You're going to laugh at my method for stripping Romex. I cut both sides with a razor knife and pull. I don't typically use my sidecutters/linesman to strip wire, but I've done so in a pinch.
To quote Nexans, copper screening provides; “superior EMC performance through bettter transfer impedance and shielding effectiveness”
Im a plumber. I only have 3 pairs of grips/pump pliers. I can do everything with just 3 pairs. I camt ever understand why electricjans need so many pairs
Sometimes you can’t carry it all you need to get the bigger bags this bag is for light weight and not carry so much
@@javierrevelo9567 you haven't understood what I mean
Worthy of a comment…… thank you very much …..
Who looked at the nail the whole time? 😂
What’s your apprentice belting tally? The heavier the stronger the message right? 😂
hehe
the cocaine in the cable lmao funny cunt, nice vid subbed xx
허리부러질듯
Tool load out gone wild 😂. ....dam son i thought i had a lot of tool in bag ..
TP-XD Blackout for me as i like you max out the TP-LC and appreciate a bit more space whilst it’s still an EDC bag.
Hey mate, how would you mark increments of 10 on the building wire? Like 10,20,30 etc
I X for 10, II X for 20, III X for 30 and so on
I touch phase to phase just to freak people out 😂 #yolo
How do you like those vessel bit holders at $11 USD each a lot more than others
They certainly have the best feel of all the bit holders
Could you please make a video showing how you paint your nails ?? That would be more interesting than this boring one
Best ones are the first two
I wonder if 2 x 12" cobras would fit nicely
It looks like you like strippers.
The camera position here and the products in front of you work great. Others should copy you.
Perfect.
Carry farrrrrrr too much kit
This might be my favorite video of any genre! I stayed glued till the end. You rock!
Nice. I’m thinkin getting the MP3 as well. Need to protect that 378fc that’s on its way. Love your vids man.
Thanks. I was wondering what the bits sticking out of the base were for. Makes sense now. 😁👍
Bought a roll of Romex just to practice this way of stripping, after about 40 tries I can reliably remove the jacket with only minor damage to the wires underneath, but I’m not getting better 😅 This is a lot harder than it looks
Yes much lighter 😂 a tool for every job, I prefer to carry minimal tools like a 4in1 non vde screwdriver, a tester, a flat head beater, 1 big 1 small cobras, adjustable, the type of things that you can do most jobs with, if you have not used something in the past 4 weeks take it out 👍
Great video, do you have a particular preference for 413 socket vs quick connect surface socket? My electrician wants to use quick connects but im concerned they're less safe. Should he be using the downlight sockets shown in your video? Cheers.
Sorry for the slow reply, quick connects are perfectly safe to use, just a different style of electrical connection. They're actually a bit more expensive but have a faster install time. I've got some in my cieling at home 👍
Ok now that is a good idea. I’ll copy that for sure. Thank you for posting.
Might be helpful if you put your instagram link in your video description.
Wow. You can keep 1/3 of these tools and still won't lose any functionality. This, is the level of repetition and redundancy.
Holy-tools I thought I carried a lot tools… but this is a combat tool pack! NICELY DONE…
