  Losing my dad to cancer in the early 2000's makes this song hit so much harder. My eyes well every time. It's powerful. Beautiful. I will forever be grateful this song exists.

  I remember the first time I saw this band, it was way after The Black Parade. Idk why, I really love the Black Parade. But I didn't want to see them like that. I saw Gerard wearing cowboy boots instead of a noose. You don't know how hard it was for those boys.

  From someone who watched his father fight cancer for 5 years, I can say that this speaks to my soul. I met this song during my father's treatment, but when I look back, I don't remember this moment as something sad. Yes, It did destroyed me inside that time, but now when I listen to it I just can remember my father's victory in one of the most difficult fights that exist.
