    I really like the current Genesis brand. It's just unfortunate their resale value is holding and it makes purchasing one used quite costly. The car you're testing is something I wanted to look at but it's just way over my budget. I ended up with a 2.4T Subaru Outback. Apples and oranges but I wanted practicality, grown up car with performance on tap. It's quite peppy when you lay in on the throttle.

    Congratulations on proving how just much you love for your 300 zx. What a sad story that started with those low life's stealing & damaging your beautiful car. Through the trauma of the insurance under compensating you, a ray of light appeared where the police recovered your battered zx and you were able to buy it back (at a ridiculously high price). Then you bonded even more with your zx as you are reviving her back to her former glory. I have just bought my fourth 300zx TT 2 plus 2 & hope to lavish her with all the love she deserves.

  • @automotivetorque

    Fitment of the AMS exhaust was good, it was harder getting the original exhaust off because of the rusted bolts and nuts. I just made sure that I bought the exhaust for the 2+2 model, as the exhaust for the 2 seater is designed differently due to fuel tank location.

    1. These are general admission tickets and there are boards with the TV feed in other GA spots. 2. It’s still a nice view and it’s the closest you can get to the cars without paddock pass. 3. Nothing can ever put into perspective how fast the cars are until you see them in person. If you can afford it I’d really recommend it. The video undersells it.

  • @martykath4427
    @martykath4427 Жыл бұрын

    @@KayJblue I am into motorsport believe me. and have been trackside and in both instances (the other being TV)you aren't getting the full picture. The chances of seeing a significant pass trackside are really slim. One year at Gold Coast INDY I assisted in the pits to a lesser class and that was ok.

    You don’t hear the pure sound on tv though so it’s so much better in person

  • @automotivetorque
    @automotivetorque Жыл бұрын

    The sense of speed, the sound of the cars, the atmosphere and being that close to the world's best drivers is why it's better to go to the event. You don't appreciate how skillful the drivers are until you see them at the track. Although it was a much better spectacle when the cars sounded better, using the naturally aspirated V8s and V10s.

  • @martykath4427
    @martykath4427 Жыл бұрын

    I have been to a few major events including Indy cars at the Gold Coast and V8s and have always been disappointed. Like when you're at a sprint car meeting or even a kart track you're able to see the whole track and potentially all the passing. Street circuits are the worst. You can barely see 150metres of track from your vantage point. (And with limited runoff areas lots of expensive cars are needlessly wrecked) Tv is the best coverage by far.
