    What if there's no button? It's hardwired into house, not battery operated.

    This was the “cure” for my anxiety over these shades! To “read” the instructions is a sure path to apoplexy! I am not a big fan of these complicated units. Too much “ladder time” changing batteries and reprogramming when remote batteries die. Just an unsafe (or costly) product for seniors!

    This has nothing to do with political policies. As a former paramedic, I’ve seen an accidental strangulation of a small child that had wrapped the cord around the neck. Regarding cost, there is no price that can make up the loss of life especially a child.

    when l hold the button, I can hear the motor move back and forth within a split second, but the shade doesn't budge. I don't have a manual, but what would the next troubleshooting step be?

  • @sunshadeswindowfashions

    Hi there! Thank you so much for your question! Try unplugging the power source (the battery or transformer), press the motor button 10 times, then reconnect power and try again. Failing that the motor could be defective, but is under warranty!

    Looks great! Can you add more than one module to a home system? Installing a large home with at least 30 controlled shades. Looks like the wire is simple 18/2? Can you use CAT5 or better? CAT5 is 24ga and CAT6 is 22ga. Either I would think would work to carry DC voltage to each shade.

  • @sunshadeswindowfashions
    @sunshadeswindowfashions2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Paul! Thanks so much for your comment. In regards to your question, yes you can use as many large DC power supply panels from Hunter Douglas as you want. For example, 40 shades requires 3 large DC power supply units. Each unit can power up to 16 shades. And yes, any of those wiring option can be used on low voltage motors!

    Hi, I have 4 stores and 1 remote. One of my store begin to act strangely. I can lower the top rail to the bottom of the window and top of the rail to the top of the window. But I cannot move the bottom rail to the top of the window. If I use my app, no problem so there a problem between the remote and that specific store. What do you suggest ? Joining my store 'again' to my group ? If so, how to do it ? Thank !
