Our name saying it all. We are two old pharts (politely spelled) who love cruising. It is our passion, our 'jam' and we are unapologetic about it. We would love to share our adventures with you and bring you with us to exciting and exotic locations around the world.

Was this cabin noisy?
Surprisingly it was very quiet! Nice layout and we loved the location and layout. Thanks for watching!
It'd be nicer if she'd quit interrupting Ron... as he's explaining his spread-sheet.
She's my memory. I have little :)
I went with them on our Southern Caribbean cruise on the NCL Dawn and this is one of my top ten excursions!
Yes, I agree! It was really exciting. Thanks for watching!
How did you get in the underwater submersible scooter?
It's a little tricky, but you have to go underwater and quickly slip up into the 'bubble' until your head is above water as you sit on the scooter.. There is someone there watching so if there's a problem they'll help you. Thanks for watching!!
Enjoyable as always. Nice series. Looking forward to the next cruise. I. will be on the Gem in the fall, Quebec to Boston
Thank you so much! We enjoy making them. The Gem looks like a great ship and the refurbishment is amazing! Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
How did you find the room overall? Thanks
Hi! We really liked the layout of this room. The bathroom had a nice size shower and good layout, with plenty of room to dry off and use the sink. The vanity was out of the way from the main area. Very maneuverable. Thanks for watching!!
Most years we see bald eagles here in Greeley, Colorado. One year we saw a juvenile having ‘aerial combat’ with a hawk
Oh wow! That would be awesome to watch!
What an excellent tour and video. Eagles are fun to see. We were in Ninilchek on the Kenai penninsula and saw a large group on the beach. Really cool. But then we talked to a friend that lived there and he said that the week before there were probably a hundred more !
It was so unexpected. The video shows how we were moving along and all of the sudden the eagles started appearing. It really was a great excursion. Thanks for watching!
Wow you did an amazing job videoing this amazing
Thank you. The rain was challenging but it was still beautiful.
Thanks for the video of Skagway. I wish I hadn't missed that port but I was not in a good way🤢
Yeah, that must have been disappointing. Well, you'll have to go back! Thanks for watching!
Wow thank you for featuring us on your video 😍 hope we will see you again real soon! 🙏🏻
Hi! Nice to hear from you! Thank you again for the great service and entertainment.
Thank you for uploading our performance 😂😂😂 We are looking forward to serve you again on your next cruise ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Rizki! You are now "KZread famous"! We miss you guys.
That is so funny and cute seems like you all had a great time!
Yes we did!
Nice whale pics !
what a dump of a port !
Yes it is. I would suggest doing an excursion or rent a car for the day (which we have done in the past). Thanks for watching!!
Have you ever sailed out of Galveston??
No, not yet. Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to the videos !
We're workin' on them now! Thanks for watching. If you haven't done so yet, find the red SUBSCRIBE button and tap it - as well as the Notification bell.
Ma’am, Sir!!! I’m missing you already!!! Send my regards to your family there ❤❤❤ Love, Harry Potter - Coffee-Coffee Team
Hi Rizki!! We miss you too! We need coffee-coffee!!!! Thanks for watching!
Hi Ron and Joanne. Was nice meeting you two on the cruise ( Hawaii to Alaska on the spirit) enjoyed your company very much and I will continue to watch your upcoming videos take care all the best from David and Cindy
Hi! It was great meeting you too. always looked forward to breakfast and our coffee talk :) Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
Any new cruises you both went on that you enjoyed
We just returned from a fantastic 16 day cruise from Hawaii to Alaska. Videos will be coming soon. Thanks for watching!!
It's comparing apples to oranges. I like cruising too but it's a completely different type of vacation. We've done both. In a cruise, your goal is to be pampered and you don't have to think much. You just go with the flow and enjoy yourself. If your goal is to explore an island, its culture, do many activities and really immerse yourself, then land trips are the way to go.
Great points! Thanks for the feedback and for watching.
You both present a great video,it's enjoyable thank you
Thank you!! We love making them.
Hi where you going next
We just returned from a 16 day cruise - Hawaii to Alaska - that was amazing, but don't have another cruise in the books - yet - but we're planning a few road trips in the near future. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
@@2oldpharts27 hi when going on the cruises that you need to take airplane then to ship is it a big headache transferring back and forth
Have you ever sailed out of Galveston?
Not yet. We may have one in December, but not sure if we are taking it. Thanks for watching!
Oh. That’s what “accessible” means
Yes it is. Thanks for watching!
Was this a handicap cabin
Yes, we prefer these due to the walk-in shower and high toilet.
Don’t the suitcases fit under the bed? All other cruises have had room
Yes, they did, but we had room to store them in the closet for easier access. Thanks for watching!
We're going on thr Jade in May 2024. Does it seem like there's a lot of wasted space not being used? I'd love to see a pickle Ball court instead of basketball?
Thanks for watching! The Jade is not a very large ship - compared to the newer ships like the Bliss - so not much wasted space. We love this class of ships and especially the "Great Outdoors" on deck 12 aft. I know on deck 13 - just above the Great Outdoors - there is an outdoor basketball, volleyball, and tennis court, but not sure the area can be used for pickleball. Again, thanks for watching!
Leaving the Pearl?
Thanks for watching! Not sure what you mean? We were on the Jade.
I just watched this again, and you are correct. We pulled away from the Pearl to head to our next port. 😎👍
I guess this was before the 2022 refurbishment?
No, this was Nov/Dec 2023. Thanks for watching!!!
@2oldpharts27 wow! I'm not seeing much in the way of upgrades to rooms. I hope that my room 9172 in March will have some changes to modernize it a bit!
Thanks for the video. It’s a great help to see these rooms when you have a wheelchair. It looks small but the bathroom seems great. Was the be bed comfortable. Have heard that the beds are hard? Thank you for doing this
That port does not excite me
We didn't do much researching this island, but we found there isn't much around the port. There may be excursions that are worth doing.
So nice! Miss you already!
Thanks! Miss you and the 'gang'.
Other than a wider door, this looks in no way wheelchair accessible. There is no room to move around or turn around in a wheelchair. I'm on this ship in another room, and I certainly hope it's bigger than this.
Thanks for watching and your feedback. This is most likely the smallest accessible room on the ship (we haven't seen any others), but it worked well for us. We didn't need wheelchair access, just no-step shower and a wider doors for a walker.
Been watching all of your Carribean vids. I think I saw you on the cruise I was on. November 26 December 10.
Oh wow! We really loved this cruise and went on more excursions than we normally do. Thanks for watching!
How long were you at the beach for? Looking to book this excursion
Well, My brother-in-law and I were the only people on this excursion, and we decided not to stay too long (maybe 20 minutes), but the guide said we had 30-45 minutes if we wanted to swim (we didn't). Overall it was a fun time and I recommend it. Thanks for watching!!
Did you by chance have priority boarding?
No, but we got to the port quite early, so we were one of the first to check in and get good seats close to the staging area. We were among the first 50 or so to board. Thanks for watching!
Still in Maricopa ?
No. Florence (Del Webb 55+ community).
Looks beautiful !!
It is!
Thank you for the shout out and the chips!! Love the videos!!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
One thing I find irritating about NCL is there will be a cruise that I find interesting, such as this one, that seems to be a one-off and isn’t repeated ! I had to cancel a great one from England to Iceland via Scotland , Shetland Islands, Norway and 3 stops in Iceland before ending in Reykjavik. But it isn’t done anymore ! @#%!#
I have noticed that on the few cruises. I don't know if that is by design or an issue with particular port availability. It is a bit frustrating.
Glad to see you enjoyed your cruise on the Jade, I'm headed to Tampa on the 26th for my cruise on the 27th on the Jade. Usually, I sail on the bigger ships due to better itineraries but prefer smaller ships. I really enjoyed the POA so same size seeing as the Jade was originally Pride of Hawaii. Not quite yet retired so I can only cruise in my winter months. Don't know where the next one will take me so keep putting out the videos. I'd like to say welcome back, but we know you really don't want to be back.
We really like the POA also. The Jade class is our favorite. I like the Pearl's layout the best. On this cruise, I loved Key West! It is a great town with a lot of history. Well, thanks you watching and happy cruising!
Enjoyinig your videos, we are planning this trip...what month did you go? Would you recommend any of the extra tours that they offer?
Thank you! We're glad you are enjoying them. Our cruise was October 3rd thru October 15th, including a 3 day extension - which we highly recommend. We didn't sign up for any optional excursions and somewhat glad we didn't as we were pretty tired after the morning tours. We did hear from others that the optional tours that they went on were very good. Thank you so much for watching.
I'm doing the same cruise in 26 days and I'm doing the same excursion. Last time in Aruba was a 2 week stay during the Covid shutdown. I actually filmed the Sun which was the cruise that I had planned but was cancelled 2 times while I was there. (I was supposed to be on the Sun at this exact time). Truly love Aruba and the people and can't wait as it will be the start of Carnival while the ship is there. Great job on the videos
Oh wow! That must have been strange to see the ship you were suppose to be on. This excursion was well worth the money and we're really glad we chose it. The rock formation was amazing! The driver was excellent as well. Thank you for watching and the positive feedback! Happy New Year from the 2OLDPHARTS!
nice ports on that cruise
For sure. 10 ports in 14 days! Kept us busy. Thanks for watching!
that’s what we did too. next tme we’ll consider an excursion
It really wasn't too bad. We took our time and we could have gotten a ride to the shopping area from one of their extended golf carts they had running. Thanks for watching!
We just got off the Jade's 14 night cruise around the Caribbean and I can't warn people away from this cruise hard enough. Boring, poorly laid out, and the dining options are terrible.
Wow! Sorry you feel that way. We had a great time! The excursions were awesome and the dining options met our expectations. Thanks for watching!
excellent
Thanks for watching and feedback!
Very nice photos
Thank you! The beach was beautiful!
‘B’ island is BONAIRE
Oh wow! Didn't know that. Guess we got bad info. Thanks for watching!
Was that thru NCL or independent ?
It was thru NCL. It is still listed on their website (St. Thomas excursions).
